Pencil or liquid eyeliner

I really envy people that can use liquid eyeliner well. It can make their eyes look wonderful. But when I do it, it just looks like I forgot to take my makeup off the night before..I keep trying it and always regret it when I have to take it all of and start over again
.
I like a really well sharpened pencil. I am currently using Primark eyeliner, which was surprisingly very good.0 -
Avon glimmersticks for me! I love them & you don't sharpen them neither. Maybelline do a similar one too.0

Does it last longer than pencils?
I have used that before and I have to say its very good!s0hn1 :laugh:0 -
My make-up bag is full of No7 eye pencils recently, due to all thew vouchers which have been around over the past few months, and I do think they're really goood. I tend to use the black, most days, and find it lasts a dya at work whcih is good IMO. I've also recently got a gold, a brown and a blue. I don't find the brown is very dark, so it barely shows up.0

i like liquid eyeliner, obv it smudges less and for me it lasts longer, but i do like those urban decay glitter eyeliners which look good ontop of a black base , however if you dont have a lot of time to be precise in your application go for kohl0

Pirate Fairy, the No7 eye pencil, is it the amazing eyes one? I keep fancying that but you have to sharpen it which puts me off a bit as it takes time and then the pencil becomes smudgy after the sharpen. Do you find this? I find pencil eyeliners always smudge on me apart from the Clinique quickliner which swivels up.0

I just can't do liquid eyeliner properly so it's pencil for me. I've got the Rimmel ones in about every colour they come in and they're pretty decent. I've got a couple of MAC ones as well and I can't say I notice much difference in quality between them, despite the price difference.0

I used to use a pencil, but last weekend I had a make over and she used liquid for a forties look, and it looked so much better. I had a kohl pencil but I found it would pull on my eyelid and leave unsightly gaps. I have bought a bourjois eye liner and it is so much easier to use! Looks much better too.I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

I use both. Dior eye pencil is great because it's so soft and my eyes are sensitive. Not cheap though.
For a different, more formal look I use liquid eyeliner. I actually find it easier to apply than pencil. I use Maybelline.4.30: conduct pigeon orchestra...0 -
