    Evening all
Just a quick post we are off to the caravan in Devon tomorrow so I won't be around for for a while.

Had a lovely few hours with MrsTwins today, she is such a lovely lady and we get on so well. I was helping to distribute some beautiful blankets to the elderly, the ladies loved them and MrsTwins left some with the manager for the ladies who were poorly or couldn't get down to the day room :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Sunday MrsTwins have a wonderful day :bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake:
mrs-moneypenny - have a lovely holiday, you deserve a break after all you and the family have been through over the last few months, sooo relax and enjoy  x
ginnyknit - I hope your stress levels even out sooner rather than later, I am sending you a comforting (((hug))) x
chalky - looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday, MrsTwins squares and hedgies already packed and in the car :)

Must go and have a serious sort out of woolly stuff to take with me, already got one smallish box in the boot, another almost done and I will need to get my "in the car knitting bag" sorted... I keep changing my time what to do first...

Must go, see you in a week or so
    Love to all
    Anne

Hello all, got back into sleeping again at last. I am still upset as we found out htis week - although I knew and was in denial - that DGS is autistic. I am struggling to accept it and grieving for what he has lost. May sound melodramatic but can't help it. He stopped talking last year and has been showing a lot of the habits of autism. I am trying to be positive and work with him and his mummy but its hard.

Dd took him, his daddy and Oh swimming yesterday and had a wonderful time - I couldnt go as I couldnt find my swim suit and get claustrophobic just watching. He is very intelligent and already uses his own sign language but its hard. Anyway I have him overnight tonight and have lots of games for us to play - OH is going to score the cricket match for his old team so hopefully we will have a peaceful day.

Hope you dont mind me sharing this - yet another problem - but I feel you guys will understand hugs ginny x

(((hugs))) ginny, i can understand the grieving, i did the same when my two boys where diagnosed with ADHD, then later asperger's, which is a form of autism. you grieve for the loss of a 'normal' child to start with, then you learn to accept and appreciate these special children, who do have so much to offer
