Am I supposed to do an update somewhere, totals I mean ?
Up to 5pm today (Fri) I have done 1 blankie (finished last week but not added to a list), and 1 bodywarmer.

Chalky knidly pointed me in the right direction of the little cardigan (is that the body warmer?) and I am now addicted, they are so quick. DGS actually let me knit as far as the armholes today before he got bored, I had to sing twinkle twinkle little star whilst I was knitting but thats no problem :rotfl:
Am thinking they may also fit dolls, will check when the first of many is finished - about 9 o clock I guess!

    morning all
my niece is the most beatiful little baby, i got a cuddle and she still smells new. i didnt want to leave
gave bro the little bits id knitted to give to the hospital or the basket in the room he stays in.
McDonalds have gone up in my opinion, they hae hotel like places near hospitals for parents of very poorly babies to stay in, my bro has a room there. in it is a little basket of baby bits you can take 'for donations' so i told him to put a few in there.

Hello Mrs Moneypenny----- Oh what a special cuddle. I am so glad you have been able to visit little Lily. I know she is on the minds of all your friends here.
Well it is so nice to read of McDonalds in a very positive way. That is brilliant. I must admit having a secret passion for Crunchie McFlurries!!!

I am just tucking lots of love for everyone here and hope that the weather is kind for all the celebrations!

Mrs MP so glad you got to meet Lily and I know how pleased other families will be to find you have left bits and bobs for them. Am really impressed with Mcd's, what hospital is she in? If you dont mind me asking.

I have finished my first bodywarmer after 2 false starts, I can now do them almost with my eyes shut. They are so pretty, I agree chalky they might be good in 4 ply. First attempt had buttonholes on both bands and a hole in the middle of the front ??? We had friends over tonight and I knitted while we chatted - they are used to me so didnt mind a bit.

Hospital Friday for the day whilst OH has a procedure to make him more comfy so must pack picnic and bodywarmer pattern :D

sorry been awol...been one of those phrenitic weeks and no wooly stuff done of any kind..yup that busy! Weekend going so fast too! Made a load of cakes for our jubilee street party at church today which was exhausting but went very well! Lovely to have people wandering in and out of the building and getting to know us a bit! I think a great day was had by all, the Sun shone, no injuries (thank goodness...esp with bouncy castle!) and lots of happy people!
Hugs Mrs M for lily and family...such a struggle when they are poorly...
Ginny hope all goes well with OH
