Just popping in -- seems the usual these days -- but thing are a bit hectic-- when aren't they hereabouts!!!!!
Thank you so much for your kind comments re DMIL --- a day at a time methinks!

Well I had not realised how much I had missed DD until she was at the door and in my arms--- Actually I probably had but had boxed it up and put all my feelings in a safe place!!
Last night I lay in bed with her in the next room and I felt so contented and this morning when I took her a cup of tea she looked about 12 all tucked up in bed-- Just lovely! It was funny she asked for a towel for a shower and when I gave her 2 -- 1 for her hair she could not get over the luxuIry of 2 towels!! So again thank you so much for sharing the excitement and I wonder whether she will have less itchy feet now!

I send a very big hug to one and all --- Take care and have lots of gentle thoughts .
I wonder how Pippa is getting on? Having a great time I hope xx
Try and do a good deed every day.

Chalky how lovely, to see one of your chicks at home and tucked up in bed, thanks for sharing that.

    ISOM hope you're ok.

Lucy had her first injection and was microchipped yesterday and was very good, but I couldn't watch the microchipping. Then I had to give her the worming stuff and that was no problem either, now if she would just leave Oscar's back feet alone...

    Love to everyone xxx

    Hi everyone

I’ve finally done the update which you will find by clicking into Roamin in the gloamin’s name at the side of one of her posts, and going to her ‘homepage’. Please let me know if I have made any mistakes; I can easily put them right!

I’m working on something for my Mum for Mothering Sunday at the moment, so I hope to get that in the post asap!

I’ll catch up with you all later. Hugs to everyone!

Chalky - I know just how you are feeling. It's how I felt when DS1 returned from living in a mud hut in Zambia (he was on an assignment as part of his Masters degree, and had to devise an irrigation programme for a sugar plantation out there!. He did so well the system is being used in other parts of Africa now). It was only when he was back safe and sound that I realised that I hadn't been breathing properly since he left! It wasn't helped by the fact that, at the same time, DS2 had to go into hospital for a serious op - it's not a time I would ever want to go through again. It doesn't matter how old your children are, they are still children, aren't they? Hope MIL is doing as well as can be.

Jean - glad you enjoyed your walk!

Mrs Moneypenny - hope the visit to the dentist went well.

Kinsey - glad Lucy has been sorted out, bless her!

Mrs Twins thank you for the lovely card, it has pride of place on the mantel. Blanket number 2 should be on its way this week. Managed to make one out of matching scraps of wool and if my maths was better I would have realised I had enough squares:p

Chalky the blanket is very pretty. Thank you for the daisy pattern on your blog, so quick to make and lots of uses too.

Am off to pick up Dgs for the night so all tidy and clean here - for how long I wonder :rotfl:

Hope everyone is doing ok especially Mrs M's grand babies. Sending hugs to all

 Morning everyone, have a few days off so I`m back to catch up.

ISOM - glad to see you posting and hopefully you`ll be on the mend now. Slow and steady girl.

Roamin - hope you haven`t overdone the hill climbing. Got to keep some energy for your trip `home`in May.

Kathy- still got fingers crossed for quick sale - bloomin hard to knit with them crossed though ;)

Chalky & Mrs Twins - lots of lovely blankets again.
I imagine DD is being spoiled for a few days after such a long absence Chalky.

Mrs moneypenny- lots of positive vibes being sent to the littlies and their parents.

Maytaurus - lovely to see you posting. Sorry to hear that your Dad is poorly though. Big hugs to you (((hugs)))

Shaz - hope things are a bit more settled for you. Migraine/vertigo isn`t very nice. My friend suffers from it and it really takes it out of her, so I know what you are going through.

Well, I was out at the theatre last night again. Twice within a month !! Went to see Dirty Dancing with oldest daughter. Her husband bought the tickets about 18 months ago for her birthday last year (she`s had another one since then ) and they have been looking forward to going together. Unfortunately, the ship he`s on is at sea till the end of this month, so my name was drawn out of the hat to go with her instead. Granddaughter thought that would be the fairest way to decide who should use dad`s ticket as she didn`t want to go with her mum. Lucky me.

Knitting wise - mojo seems to be back for a while and I`m getting stuck into Mayflowers (LH) patterns. So quick and easy, minimal sewing up involved -some only need buttons sewn on - what more could you want. Lady at work brought in a carrier bag full of aran/chunky wool so I`ll maybe have a change and do some hats with it.

Second load of washing is almost ready to come out of the machine, first lot out on the line as it`s a nice bright day here, so off to deal with that and put the kettle on while I`m passing as it`s time for a cuppa. DS intends taking a pile of stuff to the skip so My Taxi will be needed for that job later.

    See you later.
