shaz hope you had a better night and stop being so hard on yourself - you are feeling bad because of your arm and that will pass - jack is just insecure - he probably had loads of brothers and sisters and now he has none so things like a hot water bottle in his bed to keep him cosy and even an old clock so he thinks its his mummy's heart!!! put the radio on for noise in th background when you go out and always put him in his cage - thats his space and he knows he is safe there. I think someone else suggested one of your jumpers because it has your smell (in a nice way!!!) on it - he will also pick up on the fact that you are not feeling so bright - dogs are very perceptive - they can sense when you are not well!

PTB love the scarf ! and your DD - she is so cute!

its very windy and chilly here today - thank goodness i got all the washing done yesterday we have already had some heavy showers. I need to go find the geezers link.

Hello everyone--- Lots of love tucked in especially for those with their hands overflowing!
    Shaz- "This time will pass!"

Well we are having some much needed work done on our house in the New Year and have submitted plans!!!! The first obstacle is bats!!!! If you are altering the roof line you have to get a bat expert to confirm there are no bats present as they are a protected species. Now I do understand all this and have some sympathy with the little darlings inhabiting their upside down world BUT the house up the road could take all their roof of cos they did not need planning permission and did anyone survey their housE ---- NO!!! So an unexpected bill of up to £300 and thats if they find no evidence, Heaven help us if they do!! The whole scheme could be off and a very expensive dabble into "Grand Designs it could be!!
Try and do a good deed every day.
  • Chalky's been at it again!

Yesterday I received a lovely parcel from her, full of goodies for Operation Christmas Child.

Thank you so much Chalky - you're such a star! And so prolific!

Take a cyber-peek at the contents of the parcel here!

I don't know where you find the time, Chalky. I'm working hard just now to complete my 100 puppets - I'm on no. 90 now, so not too far to go!

Lots of love to everyone else on this thread.

Youi're right I didn't even have to assemble any of the Blankets, it was a lovely change. The Blankets were absolutley gorgeous.

I have to tell you while I am getting blankets ready for October/November delivery. A couple of Ladies over on Ravelry are
'in charge' of a couple of Blankets for me.
Craftymizz is making SIBOL 100, to celebrate our 100th Blanket very soon, and she is putting together a Blanket full of Jan Eaton Blocks. Now if you would like to pop over there are a few places left.
    http://www.ravelry.com/discuss/-sibol-/1823625/76-100#80

If you go to 'pages' at the top you will see the Squares Under SIBOL 100 and Snowman.
Of course don't forget to check my Flickr out. www.flickr.com/photos/sues_favourite_things

Also Mandas' challenges is doing a Snowman Blanket.
Now would anyone like to take part. We only require one Block off each Lady.
Squares already in for both challenges are looking good!

There are more places left on the Snowman Blanket.

I would love you to take part!.
Thanks again Ladies for the gorgeous Squares and Chalky for assembling. Fantastic Blankets I am so touched by your kindness.

Mioliere - I haven't forgotten to reply to your mail. I will do as soon as I can.

    Thank you all,
    Love Suex
  • Just back after a very long day but productive one so thats good and just have to drag myself through tom as have Fri off so can SLEEP!!!
Socky sorry you feel so low; lack of sleep can make things feel so much worse. Will pm you...but as others have said hes probably just adjusting to no mum so if you can see that he is a baby and just feeling anxious with new changes etc and as miol said google for relevant info and see if you can find a doggy forum to ask advice from and take it a day at a time...will pm
Pippa sorry things have been so rough...think taking it a day at a time (or a minute when its dire) can really help and did make a difference for me when things were just too awful... big hugs
Chalky poor you with bats money! grrr
hello puppet lady, mrs m and all others!
Am off to bed as can hardly keep my eyes open! Just coming home and exit on motorway was shut which after being stuck on m5 for 2 hours, getting lost (with sat nav), having to be rescued (coudnt find right lane even with sat nav!!) and going wrong was a straw too many! Did laugh though with an "anything else?" for the man upstairs!!

Why would anyone think badly of you?
You realized you had made a mistake and put it right in a very responsible way.
I think you just took on too much too soon, don't be so hard on yourself.
    sleep well
