morning everyone, hop everyone is as well as they can be this morning.;
well i have a confession, i went and bought the little jack russel yesterday.
have named him jack, he is 6 mths old, and i've booked him in at the vets tommorrow morning for his injections.
as soon as daniel knew i had decided to get puppy, he was round here so fast, and we bought all the necessary items, and went to collect him together. the look of happyiness in daniels eyes was amazing, he has wanted a dog for years, but his brother is scared of them, so the answer was always no. daniel stayed for tea, which was lovely, and we bathed jack together,, as he was a little smelly.
daneil is coming for tea again tonight, and staying over, and spending all day tommorrow with me too, and has offered to walk jack with me, whenever he isnt at college.
jack is so well behaved, maybe a little too quiet, maybe he is unsettled after the move? was expecting him to cry last night, or soil, but he did neither.
joshua has asked me to keep jack in another room, or his crate when he visits, to which i agreed, and for once josh seemed calmer, which makes a change after recent events.
off to clean pip, and sueaks (guinea pigs) cage, and make a fuss of them, then play with jack, maybe i'll even have 5 mins to knit a few lines lol
sunny here, so will be out for a walk with my mum this afternoon, then back to gym at 4.
thanks everyone again, for being there for me, when times were tough.
PTB and i are off to the harrogate kniting show in november, cant wait, and look forward to it
hugs all

Good morning, everyone.
Shaz - did you decide whether to go for the puppy? Our neighbouring farmer had one border collie; then that one had a gorgeous puppy, and now there's another puppy running around. They are all beautiful and we watch them charging around the fields racing each other. Only one of them is bold enough to venture further, and she comes up for a doggie treat every day. The farmer also has a lovely horse that has been retired and the dogs try and chase her but, as soon as she turns round to face them, they run a mile! Not as brave as they try and make out! It's all very entertaining! They also herd the cows back into their barn, even though it's not their job; I think they do it just because they can!
Anyway, I'm concentrating on IS hats right now. I think they're quick and easy and will use up all my oddments. Hopefully, we can visit the UK next month (YIPEE!!!) so I can stock up with more wool, once I can drag myself away from the children and grandchildren - I JUST CAN'T WAIT!!!!
Anyway, will pop back later.
Have a great day, everyone.

knew you would get him shaz and sure that he will give you lots of love and comfort that is much needed with all thats going on for you at the moment; that unconditional love makes a huge difference and Isoke was a gift for me when I felt so unlovable and low...can you post a piccy of him?!! Would love to see him! Even better that you have had a good day with the boys; I know its tough when the are being so vile but try to hold on that they keep coming back to you and know you love them when others use them or let them down...enjoy time with mum later!
nic i started with knitting and eventually started crochet when I saw a babette blanket and fell in love! I learned to crochet from utube and it took me a day and ended in tears but I got there in the end! Some things I like knitted and some crochetted...

The baby blanket is lovely.
