I`m on my way Chalky :j oooh that scone looks so...... meltinthemouthilicious - new word there girls. And the jam ooooooozing out from under that beeeeautiful creamy dollop - too tempting for words. Bloomin` good job you can`t put on weight just looking at all things munchable, I`d definitely be like the back end of a bus :rotfl:(not far off now:o)

Well, it`s back to work tonight after sick leave and a weeks annual leave. Never mind, should be back home about 8.30 and I`ll get peace to do my crochet `cos little J`s away with his mum for a sleepover at her chum`s. He just WILL NOT leave me alone with a hook and wool.Soon as I pick them up, he`s over like a shot demanding to be lifted up for a cuddle - well would you refuse ? Thought not, neither do I. Crochet etc will be there long after he stops wanting a bosie.

Best go and dig out something for my tea,tum is rumbling now after seeing that scone.

    Have a good evening everyone.

  • Ooooh Linda you had better not take that scone photo over to LH with you - the diet buddies will be REVOLTING !!!!! (Who said we are revolting ????? Not at all ;0). I have been trying so hard to be good and so far have lost 18 lbs - got an awful long way to go if I am to be trim taut and terrific for daughter Zandra's wedding in June next year ;0)

I iron sitting on the sofa and watch my programmes recorded on Sky+ at the same time - makes it seem easier and quicker if I do it that way ;0) I still manage to do the ironing that way and my lovely daughters and Mr Lou take care of the rest of the housework and help with opening and sorting all the donations - with over 2400 members now we do have an AWFUL LOT of opening and sorting to do ;0)

chalky that scone is making my mouth water, good job i've got something healthy in the slow cooker, or i would be off to the shops for cake.
josh has signed up for his flat, got his keys, and dropped a car load of stuff off there, he so excited to get a 'big bed' (double bed) lol,
going to have braising steak with veg for tea, then loading car up with more things then helping him unpack, and sort things out, then maybe when i get back it'll be the needles, or more likely the lager.
sounds daft, but i'm dreading the thought of coming back to an empty house night. feel really tearful, but keeping a brave face.
lou, i havent sent u a parcel for ages, but i do have a box that i am filling as i go along, just not a s much spare time as i used to
had to gert new car tyre tonight, since when did they start costing over 70 quid?
    hugs everyone

Pippa -- Do you remember our happy meeting -- I don't think I have made scones since, but with DSIL visiting from Bonnie Aberdeen -- The land of Elaine - A batch had to go in the oven. Lots of love to you and dear OH X

Thats it another huge picture of a scone - Im a bit partial to a scone (have to say im very odd dont "do" cream - sympathetic cream yes real cream no - never liked the stuff - dont like marg etc that much and only a little milk on cereals and in tea (I know fussy - Mum says I wouldnt touch it as a child even)

Nice to see Lou over again today - we have a new challenge this weekend yippeee cant wait - always love to see the new challenges - bit like christmas (only lou I realise now you joke over on LH about 4ply please please please dont put one in the challenge! - I will happily do a penance for you ie say 20 more hats instead of 40 I will do 60 or maybe just bribe you with something else anything as long as its not 4ply!)

ISOM just a quickie - lurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrve the mock cable hat really quick and very pretty - you will get addicted xxx

sock-knitter - dont drink too much tonight hon - will be thinking of you and when you feel lonely just think we are all giving you a big hug (ps the peace wont last it wont be long before you realise they are on your sofa more than their own because your beans will taste better than their beans :rotfl:and they realise that to get clean clothes they need to wash them) chin up love and take care xxxx

Night night all - hopefully catch up tomorrow xxx

Shaz -- I am sending a late evening hug. Try and sleep well and just think how chilled you will be when they both come visiting because they are not actually with you all the time. Perhaps you could choose a definite night were you all meet up. I hope the boys do really well and that will show how much you have all achieved despite the ups and downs!!!

been keeping my hands and mind busy by doing some crochet, am attempting an attic24 bag, suprisingly its going well so far.
just opened my first can, may have one more before bed, thanks everyone for your support and hugs, dont think i could have got thru the last couple of years without having you all for support.
i think joshua will be here for tea more often than his own place, as he dosent make friends easily. i have invited them both over for tea on saturday too, tho i have a feeling daniel may be too busy now, think he has a new girlfriend
    night everyone

    morning all
shaz i hope you had a good nights sleep hopefully the boys have other support apart from you as chalky has already said because now you have your own spaces you will be a lot more chilled when you meet up and be able to see things clearer without getting too sressed and enjoy them as your sons instead of worrying about things that are causing friction. :grouphug:

didnt get the bunting finished last night its a really lacy pattern and im doing it in cotton so it still seemed a little short even with the number of yo rows it instructed so ive done a couple of extra to bring it to the length it said i should have just got the bodice now
