Hi there - just a very quick update to say that my BIL is actually home from hospital, earlier than expected, so the doctors are obviously happy with how he is doing. My sister will fill me in on his progress tomorrow, but I suspect they are both flaked out on the sofa by now!

  • Kathy wonderful news about the BIL, he will be able to rest up properly now at home.
KINSEY...yeah right and I will do a whole street of shops and houses ....not on your nellie! I don't know that many kids.
ISOM - has to be 24-7 his new mammie used to work all the hours of the day and the night, hope now she can moderate that behavior Think I am forced to do some clearing up tomorrow and put away all the "stash of material" I have out.

    Hi everyone

Shaz - I hope you manage to get to the dentist today. It sounds as if it's still freezing cold in the UK. It's still cold here, and we have had lots of rain. It's about time we all had a spell of mild weather with some sun, isn,t it?

Chalky - hope you have a good Yoga session. I read about your dream! I think I'd be shocked if I had one like that!

Well, my BIL had a good night's sleep, thankfully, and my sister will be contacting the MacMillan nurses today to find out what they can do. That's all the news so far; I don't want to keep bothering them after all they've been through. I'm sure they just want to enjoy being together back in their own home.

Well, it's my baby's 29th birthday today. I just wish I was there in person, but at least I can Skype him tonight.

Anyway, today I have a bit of online work to do, then I shall get on with some crochet this afternoon. I have an easy dinner tonight; I made a really delicious chicken stew for yesterday, and there's enough left over for dinner today. DH has asked for chips with it - one of his favourite meals, stew and chips! I don't mind because it's so easy to do!

I hope you all have a good day and that you stay safe and warm.

Good morning everyone. It's been -10C here overnight and it's just not funny anymore. Finished the scarf but I'm not too sure about it, will post a pic when I find all the bits for the camera. Hope you're all well and keeping warm.
