I've just found a photographer in my area that will do our wedding pics (75 of them) on a CD for £50 :j he also offers a printing service, I'm calling him tomorrow to discuss details so will let you know how I get on! I might get the ones I like printed off myself and buy a nice album to put them into
feel happy now I've got something sorted!
Sometimes you have to go through

This seems incredibly cheap to me.Do they come recommended to you?
Have you seen any of their work? I just don't understand how they can do it for that price. How long will they be at the wedding for, one hour?0 -
I expect you will get £50 worth of photography as well!
The images and memories of your wedding day, are worth £50
I can see why people dont want to pay £1500 for a photographer, but dont think a £50 photographer will give a hoot whether you will be pleased with the results or not.
It's better paying £50 for some pics, rather than not having any at all! :cool:Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
kitty thats exactly what you do if you cant afford to feed your guests! or you dont give them anything, even more money saving
if your guests are coming for food they shouldnt be comingI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -

rainbow i wouldnt because imo id wonder if theyd enjoy the day
when i have to take pics say at sports day or a wedding/christening i feel i miss out, im fiddling making sure im capturing the moment but not actually living it
does that make sense? or is it just me!I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
I do see your point.
But its a bit like saying , we cant afford to feed the guests , so we will give them crisps and nuts , its better than not having food at all!
Meaning that , if you are going to get married , you should at least budget for a level of coverage that does not involve winging it?
Finally, a £50 photographer will have an old camera and will only know how to use it on automatic and you will have poorly framed snapshots I suspect (if they were talented and knowledgeable they would not charge £50!). So, basically the same sort of photos that the guests will take, so you may as well just save yourself the £50.RainbowDrops wrote: »I'd rather give a friend the £50 though, rather than a stranger.
If they're only charging £50, you've got to wonder why.
For both posts above, have a look on eBay. Search for wedding photographer and they are there, West Midlands if I'm right, as they're the only ones for £50.bubbles0169 wrote: »rainbow i wouldnt because imo id wonder if theyd enjoy the day

I know what you mean and I'm the same. I either watch something, or I take pics/film it. I can't do both at the same time, it's horrid!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
The one I found on Ebay says £50.00 deposit. If I am reading it correctly
this is just for turning up.Says £50.00 to be put towards photos either printed off or on disc.So I think it will cost more than the £50.00 OP thinks it will.0 -

Yeah, I know what you mean - I wouldn't want to ask a friend to give up their day to take photos.
What I was getting at is that I'd rather do that thoug than take a punt on a £50 photographer.0 -
