Ford are a car for the middle and lower class masses.
Well, that's put us plebs in our place !
But wait ! aren't a number of Volvos a re-badged/re boxed Ford Focus ? Still. if you want to pay a few thousand more more for a "Volvo" than a Focus - please go ahead !
I have owned both, value for money the Fords win hands down. I had one (Volvo) with a Renault engine (nowt wrong with that !) - the spark plugs in a blue Volvo box were THREE times the price of the same plugs in a yellow Renault one !!0 -

you should try driving an astra, corsa or vectra then. i really don't know who designed thier seats but they are terrible.
ive driven lots of fords and vauxhalls and always find the fords more comfortable. i drove a mondeo from glasgow to devon last year without stopping once, got out at the other end no problem at all, really didn't feel as if i had driven the length of the country.(well almost)...work permit granted!0 -

Thousands of reps thrashing Vectras up and down the country daily can't be wrong - I do agree that standard Astra seats are pretty uncomfortable though.
Driving that kind of distance without a break is hardly responsible....0 -

thousands of them don't have the choice.
the mondeo seats are far superior to the vectras. no competition really.
have a drive in a vectra then a mondeo and you'll see what i mean. i also drove a vectra from glasgow to newcastle and my back was killing me, i really dreaded the return journey....work permit granted!0 -
Heh, if they're anything like the seats in an Astra H then I believe you - I'm actually changing mine for upgraded ones from higher spec models with lumbar support :rotfl:0

As Jeremy Clarkson said upon test driving the new Vectra when it was launched in 2002...
"People don't buy Vectra's. They get given them..."0
