Sky dish broken

The little(an some not so little) s***s that play football at the side of my house have just broke my sky dish,anyone know if sky will repair it for free or if I need to go an have a word with the s***s dad?

as it is not sky's fault they will not repair for free,i think they charge a one off call out for repairs used to be £80 ish but probably more like £100 now.
either see little !!!!!! dad or get a cheap one off fleabay.

same thing happened to me, did not tell sky it was caused by a football just said no signal was being received. sky did not charge me and they replaced receiver on the dish.

It's £69.,threaten to cancel & you might get it half price,say you cant afford it & were thinking of upgrading but you're not going to bother now.

I cant afford it so it wont just be a threat to cancel!

What is broken? You have the dish and the LNB and the wiring. It can't all be broken surely.

Surely you have a ladder a screwdriver and a spanner. Even if you haven't got someone to watch the tv while you align it you are still only talking about £8 for a meter.

Chances are it's been hit by the ball & knocked out off alignment.

Its not just been knocked off alignment,the receiver is hanging off the dish by just the wire
