Too many cars at home?

Is there a limit of how many cars you can have parked on your drive/in the road outside your home?

At least 4/5 nights a week the house over the road from me has 6 cars on their drive & a large caravan & 3 cars on the street, usually 1 outside my house. You can probably get 4 cars at a push on my drive... I don't actually know how they do it.

It's annoying & an eyesore. They're like the clampits. If they're not working on them, they're moving them & modding them. Can I do anything? (Other than move???)

Hopefully your neighbours are not using domestic premises as a business. Now that would be naughty.

If that is not the case and they just happen to have a lot of cars about then - not a lot you can do.

Well at least they are doing their best to minimize the inconvenience to people by managing to get 6 cars on the drive.

well i'm with the OP, if i wanted to live opposite a car dealership i would - if not 9 cars and a caravan seems excessive in a residential area.

Probably not much you can do though, other than report them if they are parking them on the verge ?

I'm with OP, too. Who the hell wants to live in the midst of cars being shunted back and forth all the time? If the cars are street legal, there is nothing you can do about it. If they're not, I'd be making a few phone calls....

They're not fixing them. They work on them every single weekend, all day long & often weeknights. If it was a case of just fixing a domestic issue, with a domestic car... FINE. But that's clearly not the case here is it?

3 people live in their house. So why 9 cars? It's clearly a business. Having a mechanic/car forecourt over the road from your house is going to be an eyesore.

So I should just close my curtains & never look through the 5 windows on the front of my house? Stop being an idiot.

I wouldn't know without sneaking over & having a look?! They're not particularly well off, only 1 of the adults in the household works, so I highly doubt it. 9x car tax a year... I know I couldn't afford it!

They do often park on the verge outside my house, sometimes all night. & it's over grass.

I'm literally looking out my window now to a new car that I've never seen before. I'm wondering if tonight there will now be 10.
