???
Do you mean where you were born?0 -
No, when. Why would your place of birth be relevant?
Maybe because the 'Freedom' Pass is only called that in London? My bus pass for over 60s is simply called a Concessionary Pass.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

But he's referring to the link in the OP, which mentions that, 'The qualifying age for the Freedom Pass varies depending when you were born, but if you're aged 60 or over and live in London you can now get a 60+ London Oyster photocard for free travel on bus, Tube, tram, DLR and most rail services in the capital.'0 -
As the MSE article says, http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/family/over-fifty-pension-checklist#freebies the free-to-join Diamond Club gives discounts at certain pubs and hotels, for the over 50s. The few I just checked out have poor reviews and seem to be run-down establishments. Can anyone recommend a good Diamond Club place?0

I read in the last week or two about a mobile sim card with no monthly cost for the over 50's with low minutes and ad's when you use the internet but I've lost the link for the information, I think it was in the over 50's tips, freebies etc. can anyone help me find it, thanks.0
