Holy thread bumping, batman! This thread's a year old!
Codes won't help now, as Spotify has changed. Now you are limited to 20 hours per month, 5 plays max per song, regardless of having a code. If that's not enough for you, then you will have to subscribe and pay monthly, or find another way to listen to music.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

my daughter has moved on to site below since spotify has limited amount of times you can listen to tracks, don't think there is any difference to old spotify and this but I may be wrong

Spotify are offering a 30day free trial for premium now so it's worth checking it out and you can just cancel before the 30days are up if you don't like it.0

Isn't Spotify losing ground to Mflow now?
Mflow allows you to listen to any track for free, without member codes etc. You can 'flow' tracks to facebook / twitter to share with friends and if anyone buys a track you have 'flowed' you get 20% credit.
