OH pays £9.99 a month and he say's it's cracking. He hasn't bought any mp3's or CD's since joining so we've saved loads - it seems to get all the new releases fairly quickly and he's found lots of stuff from his childhood that he had on vinyl that has since been lost or damaged. He has it on his laptop and his mobile so he's a happy customer :j0

Spotify is a free music service rather like iTunes, but instead of downloading paid for tracks, you can stream them and listen to them for free. You can create your own playlists and listen to them as much as you like provided you are connected to the internet.
There is a premium version for £9.99 a month which allows you to listen to your music uninterrupted (without adverts, which on the free version can be a little annoying at times), with premium Spotify you can also listen to songs offline.
Hope this helps...
(p.s. I've had Spotify for over a year and during that time you have always needed an invite to join, but as poster above says it might not require one anymore).0
