I've seen these in the 99p store, but they seem to be 3 different types (kitchen, bathroom & glass IIRC) - does anyone actually use them for the different things, or can they all be used on any surface?0 -
I cannot speak too highly of both Stardrops and microfibre cloths.
I no longer clean the windows with water on the inside, just a good wipe with microfibre once a week keeps the panes bright and the frames spotless. So I now save more on water. Of course the windows must not left to become really grubby, or a proper wash will be needed.
I use only one type, which feels firm and has no fluff. I did buy a "fluffy" one once and it was horrible to hold so now I only use it for the floorboards.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
I loved my microfibre cloth until my baby got hold of it! (this one I used only for mopping up sick). He rubs it over his face and he really loves the texture. What really annoys me is the fact I have already bought him 2 baby comforters at £8 each, when he loves the Tesco 89p cloth and won't touch the other two!July Win: Nokia 58000

Lidl have in Microfibre towels at the moment. Not to do with cleaning at all, but it makes drying off after a shower a lot faster. It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.0

Wilkinson, Market Gates Shopping Center, Great Yarmouth.
They usually have it in stock, but try to go before Saturday afternoon as the shelves empty quickly!I love my spell checker, it stops me making all sorts of stupid smelling mistakes. :doh:0 -
Today I gave in and went and found stardrops and microfibre cloths both in savers at 69p each. Dh thinks I've lost plot as spent hottest day of year cleaning everything lol. Must say stardrops brings the pvc windowsills up well.Olympic bronze challenge-started 7/1/06-total so far is £194.300

I finally found some Stardrops - it's coming with my Sainsburys delivery. Can't say I've ever seen any on the shelves there, but if they're listing it on their online website I'm not complaining. The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0

OOH Wickedkitten. I have been looking for these for ages, I want to buy one for drying the dog when she's been for a swim or out in the rain. Ordinary towels are not very good as she is a " big hair" dog and it takes me ages to dry her off. I'm on my hols from work next week so will nip along to Lidl and get a couple. Thanks wickedkitten. :A :A
