I brought a bottle of stardrops and i havent got anything good to say about it yet. I tried cleaning the front of the extractor and the stickyness is not going. I read the bottle and it says to apply to damp cloth for stubborn stains which i did and still its not taking the stickness away. It is very soapy mind.....what am i doing wrong?
Please help0 -
Did you dilute it first in water which would help in removing the stickiness?0

I haven't got an extractor fan but I do have a wooden slat above the oven, where you would fit one if you wanted.
Unfortunately the woman who owned the house before us was VERY lax on housework (the stories I could tell....) and she didn't clean down the kitchen cupboards or this wooden slat above the cooker very well (if at all).
When we moved in I scrubbed the kitchen down constantly but this wooden slat still looked filthy.
I semi-recently discovered stardrops and I used diluted stardrops with hot water, a washing up sponge with pan scourer & some elbow grease to scrub down the wooden slat (scourer side). Now it's not 100% but it is SO much better than it was. I will be giving it another go to be sure!
I love the stuff, especially on the sink & taps.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

They have it in the Morrisons on Holloway Road (just south of Seven Sisters Road) which might work for you if you're ever coming through Finsbury Park. Don't know about Walthamstow but I think there are also branches in Stoke Newington and Wood Green, which might have it, if they're easier for you.0 -
On Saturday OH asked if I had something to clean the car windows with (he's on the motorway every day to commute to work PLUS we have roadworks in our road ATM so there is dust everywhere  ) I gave him my diluted bottle of stardrops & a microfibre cloth. He's made up with it as apprently its done a better job than the car wash or the pressure washer

I shall tell my hubby that, he was whinging last night because he had no screen wash and I had diluted the washing-up liquid :rotfl: Anyway, he refused to use Stardrops for some unknown reason. Oh well, he'll have to drive the M25 with a dirty windscreen now1 John 4: 7 & 80 -
