Also Superbuys, if there's one near you - 69p. Wilko's still the cheapest, I think, at 58p.0

Does it smell nice?0

Yes, but not very strongly - not as stinky as quite a number of cleaners I've tried. Just has a very mild citrusy smell, and none of the choking fumes of something like Cillit Bang.0

STARDROPS contains the following ingredients:-
Water (Aqua)
Sodium dodecylbenzene sulphonate
Alkyl ether sulphate
Alcohols C9-11 ethoxylated
Bitrex (Denatonium benzoate) solution
Perfume
Limonene (Dipentene)
Bronopol (2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol)
Colour
so some of the smell is the limonene (think that means lemon oil)
I am not yet on the stardrops wagon, is it better than vinegar/bicarb or a solution made with soapnuts? I must have missed somethingMember no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Synthetic version of. In one chemical form it smells like lemons, in the other, like oranges. I think Stardrops must have both because it doesn't smell overwhelmingly like one or the other.Sarahsaver wrote:I am not yet on the stardrops wagon, is it better than vinegar/bicarb or a solution made with soapnuts? It's a very good general cleaner. It cuts through grease much better than soap, but without leaving the house smelling like a chippy. Most people here seem to use a mixture of various OS cleaners.0 -
