Hi
Payday for me, and for the first time in a long time i have brought my accounts books into work so i can sit at work during my lunch break and work out where my money is going to go this month. What's even better is that i am going to do it before i go shopping tonight so will be able to know how much i am allowed to spend rather than bolting the stable door after the horse has run!
small steps, but trying to get back to how things used to be before i started drowning in debt.

Payday for me too
just paid another £390 off my debt
Loving the bank holday, means i only had to use 4 days holiday to have the WHOLE of next week off. Hurrah.
Have treated myself to a few bits to keep me occupied, bought £5 worth of mags, some ingredients so i can make some cakes, and have arranged to meet up with friends who have kids that i dont get to see often enough.
Ebay stuff finishes tomorrow so then i can "officially add the profits" to my holiday treat fund. :TLast bet : 26th Oct 2006:j Debt free 25th Feb 2008:j Living "my" dream:T0 -

And they have decided that pay rises, pay scale fiddles (we're being unified to a single scale), and increments are going to be applied at least one month late
I've got to recalculate all my dates again
You don't work in a University by any chance msArcher? If so I think all the moves to the single spine were supposed to have happened by the end of August 06 except in a few cases. It's gone ominously quiet at our end though and I've seen talk of next year!!!
No pay day until next Thursday for me. I shall be moping around trying not to catch too much of the Reading Festival coverage as I'll just get jealous!! Still, it's a nice long weekend which is something to celebrate!

Yup - good guess!
We were supposed to be moving last month, but owing to some 'problems' they decided to hold off till this month, then decided that they'd save some money by delaying it again (and they kept that quiet - they only changed the date on the web-site - though we should get back pay as well - which means that once more it'll be november before I know my take home for this month! Oh well...

Yep! Payday for me too, and I'm very excited at the prospect of 'doing my books' over the weekend, and updating my signature. Another month nearer to being debt free - isn't it wonderful :jOfficial DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0
