choogirl you made me laugh, i'm not a camper at all,i like en suite bathrooms, ch and comfy beds too much but i think this year for the sake of the family i am going to have to slum it:rotfl:.

    Glad I brightened your day:D

We don't slum it either even when camping, we bought a really decent tent that is wind and waterproof, I have a carpet, heater and our inflatable bed is a king size and really deep. Last year we had smoked salmon and champagne for breakfast!
When we started to go camping I insisted that I had to be able to stand up inside it, not have to crawl on the floor to get in and that I could take my hair accessories. God I sound really vain and shallow. Its good fun and the kids love it but I am strictly a summer, fine weather camper.
  • Morning, well yesterday was big spend day-

    Grocery shopping £55.79
Milkman £22.50 (3 weeks worth + cream, extra milk and OJ over christmas)
66p library fine as couldn't return books on saturday as DD ill and forgot to do online:(.

Today should be a NSD and i'm taking lunch again to work, will pay PO cc tommorrow as can't be bothered trailing to post office today and they don't accept online payments:mad:.

Nothing else going on, surveys are slow and being screened out all the time, should have listed stuff on ebay this weekend but had no motivation, think its the time of year thats making me feel down.

    Hi again Penny,

    Thank you for your welcome.

Funny your talk of Turkey, we have been to lots of different places within Turkey and loved every single one of them. As we are now debt busting we probably aren't going to be going for a while realistically but it's nice to have a browse on the lap top infront of the telly while DH watches the MATCH, I swear he would listen to darts on the radio if that was all the sport available, still can't complain it keep him out of trouble.

I hope you have a good week and look forward to catching up with your thread in a couple of days, working away tomorrow but we must do these things :(
Kez12 intends to have a frugal 2012 and bust that debt:j there's certainly plenty of it!
  • Thanks for popping in kez12.

Not a lot going on at the minute, i'm skint (nothing new there), trying to lose weight by eating sensible as all my clothes are too tight from the christmas binge and also trying to juggle family life, not very good at it though and keep dropping the balls, ha ho will get there one day.

Ok yesterday was NSD:), which is fab, also recieved £25 from a survey company into bank acount, not sure what to do with this, do i pay extra off BC, add to holiday fund or buy sausages, now before you think i've gone mad, my friend has a small holding and has pigs, 2 are being turned into sausages this weekend and she wanted to know if i wanted to buy some off her, £25 would buy lots of good sausages and would cut the grocery budget.

Today is a spend day £6 on sports for kids.
  • Oh chocies on the money front??? If the sausages will save money in the long run it might be a good way to go?? They will be soooo yummy im sure :) Could you split the money a little?? Maybe £10 on sausages £10 on cc and £5 for holiday fund or something??

Well done on nsd yesterday x

  • Well its been a busy few days and not had chance to update, not that much is happening.

Have decided to spend the full £25 on sausages:D, yesterday i spent £25 on horse riding for DD and today brownie subs need to be paid so another £20 gone, bought some bits from littlewoods in the sale, a pair of pumps for work that were reduced to £5 and some of there board games are BOGOF and reduced so got a connect 4 game and a sort of guess who game for £3.50, these will go in present drawer, really pleased £8.50 for the lot:), will pay it all off next month when statement arrives.

Have done meter reading and have used £14.64 in gas and £18.67 in electric:( this week, really need to get this down a bit, would like it to be around £15 for electric and £10 for gas a week.
