 RANT ALERT:mad:
santander are the biggest bunch of tools going, sent them a cheque end of last month as payment was due 7thNov, it cleared out of my aliiance and leicester account on the 2nd nov, there was me thinking great paid in time, no probs, get statement today and they have charged me £12 for late payment as it wasn't cleared into my account until the 10th nov, so rang them up and they told me i have to give them up to 10 days after it has left my bank account to show on CC statement !!!!!!, had a bit of a go at the poor women asked her how come it takes that long when alliance and leicester are part of the same company as santander, couldn't answer just said i don't know, anyway they have removed the fee, then she said to me, next time, post your cheque 2 weeks befor it is due:mad:, told her there won't be a next time as they will be recieving a payment in the next few days for full amount and as soon as that is showing on account i will be closing down my card.RANT OVER.
Also recieved tesco and cap 1 statements, will have a couple of pounds to pay to each of these once bal transfer has hit and then can close down tesco.
Postie brought me massive box of the little mermaid;) (did you get it) washing powder to test and a sample of head and shoulders shampoo and conditioner.
Works been good today, feeling more positive about my job and think it may be others going:(, but i really need to take care of my family first, is that really selfish:o.0 -
Oh no sorry youve been having trouble with Santander, they are so rubbish arent they! I recently moved to Alliance and Leicester and now wish I hadnt as ive had run ins with them too!! Might have to move back to HSBC who are not too bad in the grand scheme of things!!
Have you registered somewhere for these freebies you keep getting? I would absolutely love free washing powder but ive only ever had a couple of bits sent from Ipsos!
Its awful but you do have to think or yourself and your family x x xMummytogirls x0 -
Hi mummy, the freebies have all been from different survey sites, don't know if i'm just having a lucky streak at the moment with them, but things like washing powder are brill, the size of box would have been a fiver in Tesco, so i won't need to buy washing powder next month, i think when i get paid i should pay what it would have cost me to buy off BC.0

Morning guys, been awake since 5am:(, money wizzing around my head, its all i seem to think about, where can i cut back, how can i make more, just become obsessed, feel like a crazy woman.
So far this morning i have ordered a £10 tesco voucher from valued opinions and have entered meter readings online, Gas have used £4.53 and electric £17.56, have gone over £20 budget for the week, wondering if these dark nights/mornings have caused it as lights seem to be constantly on, even during the day with the miserable weather i have been putting lamp on in front room:(.
Will be spending money today as dd is horse riding so thats £25 gone, going to have a look around the house this afternoon to see if i can find any thing to ebay, just desperate to start paying of BC.0 -
£25 is a lot for riding lessons. I'd be mortified if I had to pay that. I think £20 for two is expensive enough.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500
-
Its for 2 hours, includes all the pony club lessons badges etc. So its not bad value considering around here a half an hour lesson is £18.0
