jinky-I'll maybe try that next time!:T:T

zippy-don't worry,I'm not going anywhere!I love MSE;I still remember how
amazed and chuffed I felt when I first discovered the forum , to see that there were so many like-minded people who wanted to make do with what they had, waste less, spend less,re-use,re-cycle,live within a budget etc.

I only look at the 'old-style' section.(I still haven't read half of the things I want to).I think most other sections wouldn't be of any help to me,cos I don't live in the UK.With the OS way of thinking,it doesn't matter where you live, you can still apply it.;)

Anyway, greetings from sunny Switzerland. As they say here

I can now make bread using my breadmaker, and I can also make pizza dough. Could someone tell me if it would be the same recipe as the pizza dough for making a cake or tart and pie topping, if not can someone direct me to the relevant link Thanks.Viv the learner

    Do you rate yours.

    How easy is it

    Does it taste nice.

I normally make by hand whic can be timeconsuming as lots of time for rising is it quicker in machine.

we had a morphy richards and it made a loaf within an hour and that was mixing it etc. Gave it to my neice as me and the boys didnt like the bread as much as shop bought. OH loved it - and would have used it all the time but 2 hovis is £1 in farmfoods which turned out cheaper!

  • I wasn't keen on the bread my Morphy Richards made, but I've had a Panasonic for three years now and it is fantastic. The bread tastes like posh bakers bread, and costs very little per loaf.

I love the bread from my BM - but it does take different from shop bread. I like knowing what is in my bread. Today I have made a lovely wholemeal loaf with lots of seeds. I think it cost about 50p. If I was nearer I would offer to make you a loaf :) I don't follow the recipes in the guide. I have found some from here turn out much better.
