u claim 4 me

Options
Uclaim4me have rang offering their services on two secured loans that we have to claim back ppi. They said they take 30% does anyone know anything about them as we are thinking about filling in their forms? We do have a big ppi on both loans only for 5 yrs which we will still be paying after 5 years but weren't told that they were being added to the loan.
Thanks for any help, don't want to agree if this company is no good.

It is pretty easy to complain about PPI on loans. You dont need a claims company and you shouldnt use one that cold calls you and then wants 30% of the redress if paid.

I would not recomend U Claim 4 Me (Ugroup) the company does not charge 30% its actually 33.3% after taxes.
Also if you agree to have a welcome pack off them you will be chased constantly asking for that pack to be returned which can be very annoying.

Why don't you fill in this form instead and send it direct to whoever arrange the loan for you, keeping a copy.

If you do not get a satisfactory response you can fill in this form and send it to the Financial Ombudsman Service with a copy of the first form.

You will get exactly the same outcome and be able to keep all of it.
  • U Claim 4 Me are a no no. Do not use them unless you want a lot of forms coming through the post that you then have to sort out and return. You will get the same forms more than once about 4 times in fact of the same forms! We have also had a letter through the post adressed to us but when you read the letter it has someone elses name on it..........also you might recieve cold calls from u claim 4 me but they actually sell the business on so the welcome pack recieved in the post will be from a different company such as, Brunel Franclin, G3 etc. Also they are very bad with paying there employees (from an insider), which makes you wonder if they are in debt. Very bad customer service in relation to sooo many phone calls and soooo much paper work. Very annoying, and for the fact it can take 3 months + for them to pay staff, absolutely rubbish.

Also if your loans are still running and they use your redress to reduce them ,,ie sending you no cheque..you still have to pay the claims company thier 30% plus vat. most people wont have the ready cash to pay them, so it goes on the credit card ..back to square one!..avoid them they are out for a quick buck ..and its nothing anyone cant do themselves..if i can do it anyone can...i've reclaimed over £30k if i'd used claims companies i'd have lost nearly 10k...just very no :D
    HBOS charges..£7000.00 recieved.
    Egg cc..£1300 recieved.
    Barclaycard cc..£ 568 recieved.
    A&L loan..£1677 recieved..HBOS cc..£3500. HBOS.. loan £919.HBOS.cc charges. £1400 MPPI £21799 recieved

Another fist time poster telling us that an ambulance chaser is brilliant.

    I never liked spam!

I have just received a complaint from these idiots about the supposed missale of a PPI policy which was in fact PHI.

It has several pages of rubbish, the best being "Our client has stated they were <<employment status>> when the policy was sold".

Clearly they are simply churning out templates and are not even competent to do that properly!

What if you dont know the facts and figures etc. If the form from this site is sent back with little info on will it get rejected? Or shall we send off SAR requests first to all creditors? Sorry to jump on this thread!

    Yeah, wrong thread.
Follow the advice here for finding reasons for mis-selling:

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
Then use a SAR letter if you don't have any loan details:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1475553

It's never better to use a Claims Management Company, especially not sharp operators like the one's named in this thread.

If you want further advice, start a new thread with it's own topic.
