Question about MBNA and Monument

Comments

  • Result! MBNA agreed to pay up once FOS had got on their case. Just awaiting for the acceptance\amount letter. Thank you all for your help!!
  • I have in my hands a letter dated 10 February 2011 from Monument saying that Monument are prepared to refund me all of the Payment Break Plan charges that have been applied to my account along with associated interest charges. The total amount they refunded me (as of 22/2/11) is £2,834.98. I might add that they initially only offered half the charges but we pushed for the full amount and got it.

The reason I am posting this is to let you all know that these charges are recoverable all you have to do is stick to your guns and fight for them.

    My advice...., go for it.
