we ran out of oil last night with only a week until we move house, there was a tear in my eye shelling out £14 for an emergency drum

Well we ran out and with the stinking weather I cannot get any washing dry so am having to order some oil boo hoo!
Anyway, prices this morning are as follows.

Bangor Fuels
500 - 140
900 - 243

Richie
500 - 143.64
900 - 249

Maxol
500 - 139
900 - 238

Clandeboye
500 - 139
900 - 242

So there you go. At least they are going down a bit.

I usually find home Fuels to be the cheapest but I also like getting good service for loyalty so what I do is phone around about 10 suppliers find the cheapest price and then phone Maxol Direct they always ask if I've got oil from them before - which I always do then they beat the lowest price I've got - and they always delivery that day or at the latest the next day.

Tell me has anyone ordered oil recently? i think I need to order again soon and would like to be prepared for the price

I got 900 litres from www.cheaperoil.com last week. Cost me £285 :eek:
They were the cheapest I could find at the time.

I got 500 litres about 3 weeks ago for £159.
I could have filled a 1000 litre tank for just a teeny bit more than that about 18 months ago.

The cheapest I could find was Shell Direct or Emo think they were around 282 for 900 Litres
