just checking in as I've been a stranger to this thread for a long time! There has only been the odd time since I started this challenge in Jan that I've bought things I didn't need. Very recently I bought a brand new FCUK whipped body cream at a table top sale for 50p and I bought 2 packs of face wipes because I thought I'd run out but I still had a packet left, other than that I've been buying only what I need. When I ran out of shampoo & conditioner I bought several because they were on offer (I use frizzease and it's quite expensive if bought one at a time). I'm still working my way through my stash and suspect I will be until xmas, but doing the challenge has changed the way I buy toiletries, well for now*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150

One small addition today, the free Cowsheds lip balm finally arrived. But no purchases, which is good for my first month, roll on next month - don't think I'm going to need anything yet unless I need any bits for on holiday at the end of the month. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Haven't bought much this month. Some wipes and sun cream in Home Bargains, and a sunscreen lipgloss in Savers. Used up some Sanctuary body lotion, nice but hard to get out of the bottle, and a tube of Boots P&P serum which I buy regularly when on offer. Also used all the Boots 4 in 1 wipes which I bought with my £5 off coupons(very nice wipes).0

Some more nearly used ups:
Dove roll on go fresh - WIBA not sure. Probably if on offer. I usually use chemical free deodorant but its simply been too hot to rely on that.
Body Shop seaweed mattifying SPF15 moisturiser - WIBA yes. Especially if on offer. Lovely fresh smell. Does what it says on the tin. Doesnt leave me too oily. I think I have a Vitamin E one in stash so will use that next.
I found a couple of Biotherm products in stash (back of car!). So will use them up soon. Happy pampering everyone. :ADeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Hi LT, that funny! So if I said I spent all weekend pimping myself that sounds rather different to pampering! Although Pimp my ride - radically improves how a wreck of a car looks. So maybe not to far from the truth. Crikey, had better stop there.....................

It contains moonflower instead and is so light and glorious in it's fragrance I wear it during the day sometime too. It's very moisturising like a butter but light enough like a lotion (its a bit like a whipped lotion, half way between the two IYSWIM). And I have a £2 johnson's voucher floating around so will have to see where it is on offer to buy some more (this is allowed as it does seem helps me sleep! Think i've just jinxed myself there :rotfl: )
I make such a ramble over my reviews lol
Have a good day girlies! xx
Me too. And now I want to buy this lotion even though I have a few to get through. But I will put it down to medicinal needs.lilian1977 wrote: »A UU to report - Clinique Dramatically Different moisturiser. Finally! Got given it months and months ago - possibly Christmas - by my mum when it was already half empty, and it's taken all this time to finish. WIBA? Probably not - I find it too liquidy, it feels like I'm putting water on my face - I prefer a light cream. No 7 Day Cream to open now.
When I did the whole Clinique package thing I told the SA that this moisturiser just wasn't doing it for me. She said that you are suppose to follow it with one of their night creams. She went on about the DDM was only to replace what had been removed by cleansing. Talk about overload.0 -
One UU to report: Tesco Vitamin E wipes WIBA? Yes, they're very cheap, effective, have a pleasant smell and are paraben free. What a surprise, I have a few more packets of these to use before I need to buy any more! I also have face wash, eye makeup remover and eye makeup remover wipes (packet half used) in my stash and I'm going to start using some of these products for removing makeup and just use the face wipes for freshening up. I do find face wipes handy though. After I've cleaned my face with them, I then turn the wipe over and use the clean side to wipe the inside of my sandals to keep them smelling fresh!0

That sounds really nice and your review has really made me want to try it!Ok, I am a long time lurker of this thread but I think its time I admit that I have a toiletry problem. I *think* at the moment have 6 body lotions on the go and more stashed away. And I have a mega amount of shower gel/bubble bath.
I am hoping this thread will keep me on the straight and narrow and make me think more carefully about buying toiletries willy nilly. I'mm compile a list and post it later.
Welcome Nikki and well done for posting your first list. We look forward to seeing the list(s) of the rest of your stash! :THi all! Just came across this thread - don't usually venture onto this board but am waiting on It doing stuff to let me get on with work so am having an extra good look about the threads!
This is such a fantastic idea!
Can I join for July?
I have no idea what I have but my stash is all in a plastic moving crate under my bed - thats how much there is, and I have said July is going to be abig de-clutter, save, use up month so would be great to join you all.
Shall look under the bed and get a list together!
Welcome MinniMe, please do join us for July! Yay another list to look forward to - I love reading them!
I've just one UU to report since my last post:
Philosophy High Foaming Shower Gel/Bath Foam in Fruit Punch fragrance - WIBA? Yes I really liked this one, very fruity and refreshing. I preferred using it as a shower gel as it didn't dry my skin out, but I felt it was a bit harsh when I tried it as a bath foam (but then I do like a lot of bubbles and Lush bubble bars are the best!).
Am going to use some travel size shower gels next to get some more variety and quicker UUs!
I've got an eye gel that's almost finished (why do they seem to always last for ever?!) and I must try to remember to use my gradual tanning moisturiser (a Dove one) more regularly as everybody is getting a lovely colour as its so sunny but because I work inside all day long I'm getting paler!!
Bye for now everyone, love from Candice x
PS thanks to everyone who gave instructions re the Multiquotes - I think I've cracked it!! :T0
