I have the snail gel in my stash!!! Used it for a while and found that it really did even out my skin tone. Can't remember why I stopped using it??
Off to dig it out and start using it again!0 -
i found snail eggs in my greenhouse today does that count?
got home to find that OH has bought me 3 bottles of conditioner, 2x Asda coconut at 50p each and 1 x Timotei at 70p.
guess that wil be the start of my list
i'm almost at the end of my herbal essence pink conditioner so at least i know i have some more ready for when it's finished0 -
I bought a lipstick today from Aldi @ £1.99 as my fav is almost gone and I won a purply nail varnish from Rimmel, thats 2nd win this month from Rimmel - shouldn't complain, gave the mascara to DD today.
I seem to be struggling to use much up these days, though I am trying hard.0 -
Evening all,
Wow look at the time. Bit sleepy so this will be short.
Nearly used up:
St Tropez gradual tanner - WIBA yes. The smell could be better (although this is an older formulation so hopefully things have improved). Leaves a lovely natural colour which people have complimented me on. I have bought this evening a Garnier summer body gradual tanner (and ahem a Sublime Bronzer self tan). The St Tropez has nearly run out so I dont feel too bad. If I'm not keen on the Garnier one I will use that on my legs (larger surface area to use up!) and get St Tropez for my arms/decollete (sp?).
L'oreal collagen filler eye - wiba no. Last squirt or two to go. Its ok. But I'd say it was more like a make up product (like ooh la lift by Benefit) that a treatment product. So great that it helps with the illusion but I need something to keep the crows feet at bay. So no on this. Plus its quite pricey (sure its over a tenner) and once you reach that kinda price it doesnt seem too much more to buy something decent. Ooh harsh critic, get me.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Hi girls!
Sorry I've been awol for much of June. My laptop died and have just replaced it.................feeling a little chastened though by the amount of extra hours, extra activity and extra productivity in a computer-free day.........:o:o
Seriously restricting the number of MSE forums/threads I meander through from now on! Won't be giving up on this one though!!
Have successfully been using an eyebrow dying kit (£7.99 I think from Superdrug) and this has been very MS in saving on salon treatments. DD has been waxing brows too, so a saving here.
Still trotting behind DD using up her shampoo/conditioner leftovers, so no spend here and beige scratchy soap is still going strong (Booo!!).
DD treated me to a Narciso Rodriguez Essence eau de parfum, which is lovely and light and summery. Very light, actually....have used loads of it already.
Keep up the good work girls! Wow! halfway through 2010 already!0 -
morning, another UU i wasn't quite expecting yet - a Clean & Clear foaming facewash/daily exfoliation cream. WIBA yes, it's much of a muchness to any other i guess, i don't have problem skin just the odd spot once a month or so, and this made sure that that stayed up (if i remembered to use it that is!!). Because i don't have problem skin I might only use this 3 times a week max when I spot it in the shower or bath. I have a neutrogena pink grapefruit facewash (full size) to trial at the moment so won't need to but yes I would!
Johnson's Dreamy Skin moisturiser (in the tub) WIBA YESSSSS I can't stand lavender fragrance as it gives me a headache and makes me feel ill, and this is the only 'relaxing' product that doesn't contain it! It contains moonflower instead and is so light and glorious in it's fragrance I wear it during the day sometime too. It's very moisturising like a butter but light enough like a lotion (its a bit like a whipped lotion, half way between the two IYSWIM). And I have a £2 johnson's voucher floating around so will have to see where it is on offer to buy some more (this is allowed as it does seem helps me sleep! Think i've just jinxed myself there :rotfl: )
I make such a ramble over my reviews lol
Have a good day girlies! xx0 -
Bronnie,I've missed you!
I'm shortly going off line for possibly a couple of months too, but I'm going to stay on the straight and narrow...finances will assure that!0 -

A UU to report - Clinique Dramatically Different moisturiser. Finally! Got given it months and months ago - possibly Christmas - by my mum when it was already half empty, and it's taken all this time to finish. WIBA? Probably not - I find it too liquidy, it feels like I'm putting water on my face - I prefer a light cream. Have finished a tiny clear lipgloss - but it feels like nothing wants to finish at the moment, so it is a success of sorts!0
