Not counting my chickens before they hatch, but can't see me needing to spend tomorrow (busy with house move all day, and OH has said he'll get pizza in for tea :) ) or Sunday (unless OH and I end up "baby sitting"/entertaining my GDs, while DD and my Dad finish off the house move which is looking increasingly possible).

May need milk on Monday, but DS has only used 3 pints in the last 48 hours - so it's possible (though unlikely) the remaining 6 pints may last until Tuesday. Meal plan shows no purchases needed until Wednesday (potatoes) - and as that's the only thing I need until at least next Friday I'll pick spuds up at the same time as milk.
As I thought, the house move over-ran

Saturday was an NSD though - taking me up to number 8 :T

Was supposed to be at OH's at 7pm on Saturday - and finally got there at 9:30pm. He made me a brew before I grabbed a shower, then cooked a pizza for me while I washed off all the dust :)

OH was a good sport all weekend though, and went with me to DDs new place to babysit my GDs on Sunday while my DD and Dad went to load the van up again - got there at 9:30am and had the girls until 4:30pm, at which point he went back to the old place in the van with my Dad for the last load (included a washing machine that it was obvious my Dad wasn't up to moving on his own) leaving me with the girls, and got back from that at 8pm. By the time we'd unloaded the van and got back to his it was 9:15pm before he was starting to cook tea for the pair of us.

We were both shattered (from baby sitting and unloading the van etc), so he decided it made more sense for me not to drive home after that. Only problem being I had to be at work at 7am today, which meant I'd have to be up at 5am to make it from his end - and he's rarely up before 8am so I didn't really think it fair on him. But he got up the same time as me, made me a brew while I showered and dressed, and made sure I had breakfast before leaving (he's very firm on the importance of that meal)

It was the first time he's met any of my family since I started seeing him, though he's met my kids when they were really young and used to see my Dad around work. Got the thumbs up from DD, and my GDs took a real shine to him. My Mum was impressed he'd insisted on going to help with the last heavy load after seeing my Dad struggling with boxes - so I guess a thumbs up from there too.

On Sunday morning had DD announced she had bread and ham in to make sandwiches for lunch - but no spread. She also didn't have any cheese, and OH doesn't eat meat..... so Sunday saw a £3.12 spend in a small village C00p for a tub of spread and a block of cheese (both of which came home with me afterwards)

Came home this morning to get the few bits I needed for work, put the bins out (which DS had already done without being asked), and check if we needed any shopping today - only to discover that (as expected) we were very low on milk. So I've picked up milk and potatoes on the way home from work, meaning no NSD today either :(

Now off to catch up with the thread since Friday evening, and see how other folks are getting on - and how the plans for the nights out are going :D

Evening campers :D Afraid it wasn't a NSD for me today :( Had to take Jet back to the vets for his checkup and we ended up coming away with some more tablets. But the good news is that the vet is really pleased with how it is healing :) Thankfully she gave me enough tablets to have in standby in case he gets another "hotspot" - better not, I hate seeing him with a clipped bald spot :(

After that I had to pop to Aldi as the darling moggies had run out of their biscuits, and believe me life wouldn't have been worth it if I had left it until the weekend when we went shopping. Ollie probably would have left home, oh wait he doesn't know what is the other side of the garden fence as he only goes out for 10 mins at a time to give the frog a complex in his herb garden/damp bit :rotfl: And Amy is so chicken she just bobs her head up and down when the french doors are open. No they would make me pay by continually mewing at me..lol And obviously I picked up some doggy treats as well for the two dogs, don't want them to feel left out :D

I have decided I am not going to count petrol, dd's and my phone bill in the NSD's. Anything else over that then I am going to be accountable for. I have got very good at writing what I spend in my budget book :D I looked at it the other day and was horrified that I had spent £200 odd pounds on nothing!! Most of that was in Asda..how come I managed to spend all that  Now if only I could harness that into my savings account..lol

Really looking forward to our virtual trips to Wimbledon, Stonehenge and the back alley.

No NSD for me today unfortunately, realised I'd forgotton my BILs birthday so had to get a card etc. Oops! Need to have a spend day either tomorrow or wed as I need fuel, but hopefully I'll get in a couple this week.

Well done everyone and thanks for doing the thread spoon!

Well done on NSD No.8 :T OH sounds really thoughtful and lovely! I definitely agree with him on breakfast being the most important meal of the day - it sets you up for what's to come! (Though admittedly I would struglle to eat anything at 5am too!)

Funnily enough, Monday and Tuesday (the two days I start work at 7am rather than 1pm, so up at 5:30am when going in from home as I spend time on my laptop while getting ready - could get up at 6am otherwise ;)) are the only days I eat breakfast without having to force myself..... think it's the knowledge I can't pick on anything while at work, and don't get my lunch break until noon (and don't get home to eat until 12:15).

I really enjoy sitting down and enjoying breakfast (actually all my meals lol) and if I have to get up v early, say if I have an early morning flight or train to catch, then I just won't bother to do that. Also, if I eat something very early, I am starving again by about 10am....so I just have a second breakfast if I've had to eat early! :rotfl:

Just a quick hello & well done for all the NSD's :T today's been ridiculously busy & up at the crack of dawn for a training miles away :(

Small spend today on some mothballs (MSE in my book, cos it'll make my clothes last longer & mean i don't have a reason to buy new ones!! :D), but as i was out posting the ebay parcels figured i might as well get it done, am hoping not to spend again till Friday... fingers crossed!!

Big hugs to all that need them & fingers crossed for quiet neighbours all round tonight!!!!
