NSD 7 for me Spoon, haven't been out of the house all day, been glued to PC working on stuff. Thanks for the hugs everyone, not got time to have a day off, I'm in charge of putting on a display at a garden show next week for the charity I volunteer for, loads of last minute and unexpected things to do and if I don't do it there's no one to blame but me. Decided I must be borderline run down, that or an hypochondriac
, I started with toothache this afternoon, which gets worse when I eat or drink anything hot or cold, been doing it off an on for a few days but got worse today. I think it could be sensitive teeth, so got some sensitive toothpaste yesterday, fingers crossed it'll sort it out in a few days.
Jinty the cardi is lovely well done, excellent for a first project, the first thing I ever knitted was a dodgy scarf that insisted on curling up in to a tube. Where did you get the pattern? I have a stash of wool and there's some in it that I could do something like that with for me. When I knit or cross stitch stuff I always give it away, never do anything I keep for myself, ohh I'm telling porkies, I knitted two bobble hats (without a bobbles) last winter and actually wore them!
Having got the deadline stuff done today, tomorrow I'll be doing some paperwork and putting some bits together for the stand and then I'm going to have a little bit of r n r methinks. Plan another NSD tomorrow, they get addictive and do make me think about what I'm buying, this afternoon feeling iffy I went on Amaz*n where I go to do a spot of retail therapy and will normally part with £20 or so on a game, dvd or book or combination of. Today I thought do I really need it, I didn't so I came on here reading everyone's lovely posts with a coffee and felt better without spending a penny! Here's to an NSD for everyone tomorrow.

NSD 4 for me... quite likely due to a feeling of utter guilt for my manic spending yesterday. Of which I'm more than a little afraid to admit....
Deep breath....
I jumped off the wagon, maniacally laughing and whooping, brandishing my debit card in the air, chasing after objects of desire... what objects of desire caused this fit of madness, I hear you ask...
Erm, that would be a pair of gorgeous pair of red Karen Millen heels, never before worn, in one of my favourite secondhand shop. And whilst I may have saved myself £80 on the rrp, it's still more than I've ever paid for shoes since I decided I too wanted to be a fabulous frugalista!
The other spending is likely to double my crazy clothes challenge total once I'm brave enought to tot it all up. Again, a £70 saving on rrp for a work shirt may have me smiling in glee on one hand... but on the other... I didn't go in hunting for a work shirt! And I didn't get what I needed. And I have a ferry I need to book!

NSD No 5 for me today. Had a high spending weekend due to having nephew and god-daughter for the whole weekend. Spent an absolute fortune but we had lots of fun as well as lots of delicious things to eat!! I will however have to make sure that I have NSD days for the rest of the week now with the exception of tomorrow as my cousin who lives in New York wants me to send him and his two children England football shirts and all the other bits that go with it! I think my monthly budget has been blown out of the water this month.
Haven't been able to catch up on all the posts (wow there have been so many - I'm sure this is the highest posting thread on this site at the moment!) but it looks like everyone is doing brilliant as usual.
Spoon, thanks again for keeping us all on track and update with what's going on. You daily update sure does help me when I don't have enough time to read through all the posts. Thank you.Save £12k in 2017 #14
