    Morning All

Won't be a NSD today or tomorrow but have hopes for weekend.
Anonymoose, so sorry, know how it feels, its horrible but you were brave and did the right thing, and probably the hardest thing.

Its raining to-day and I'm having 2nd, 3rd, 4th thoughts on the camping trip, but, its that or nothing and Mr Dopey has worked really hard this year and needs a wee break, so I'm now researching suitable venues, could take a while. Also hatching back up plan of foisting us on some rellies down south, but they've got 2 dogs and we've got one, this having no money is a bit depressing especially as this time last year was in a 4 star hotel on Mallorca........................

{{{{{Anonymoose}}}}}} my sympathies for the loss of your little one, I totally empathise, when I had my Pye PTS at the beginning of the month my spending and everything went to pot, but the lovely NSD'rs gave me lots of tea and sympathy and I'm now back on track, we're all here for you, losing a treasured pet is hard, getting over it is a very slow process, I still have teary moments, but each day gets a little better as I'm sure it will do for you.

    Herby x

Thanks Herby, sorry to hear of your loss xx

I was doing ok today, then my friend brought me some flowers round... and reading the messages on here have set me off.
I'm so glad I'm on my days off from work, people don't seem to get how you can be upset because it's not a cat or dog :( and "just a guinea pig".

    Hi everyone!
Just catching up with the posts -
Anonymoose - so sorry to hear about your guinea pig - just to let you know Im thinking of you!

PDD - re the camping - my friend at work went camping this year after many years of "luxe" holidays and came back a total convert!
Speaking for myself, I had an ex who wouldnt entertain anything other than top notch holidays abroad. He spent like there was no tomorrow, and I would join in. I emphasise the EX part as I am still paying for all those junkets many years down the line as he bu$$ered off with someone else, leaving me with ALL THE DEBT! I have a new OH and we go twice a year to a caravan in Argyll and I can put my hand on heart and say that they have been the best holidays ever. Mainly cos its so beautiful and we have a great laugh but also it doesnt cost the earth and we dont come home to a major credit card bill!:D Ten years ago I wouldnt have entertained even the idea of camping/caravan.
Sorry for the essay, I really hope you give it a go - plus Im dying to be entertained by tales of your exploits!:rotfl:

Today was a spendy, a little grocery shop plus a pressie for my Mum's birthday tomorrow.
Hair do tomorrow then lunch with family for aforementioned birthday, then on Sat we need two tyres for the car before we get locked up for having baldy tyres!

Sunday looks like being the first potential NSD for July, fingers crossed.

Have a great day everyone - Im off to the July thread...............:)

Hi SPOON, apologies for calling you "scrooge", I was sending a post on another thread to a poster called "scrooge" so I obviously wasn't paying attention. You are far from a "scrooge". Am I forgiven? Guess what? I had another NSD today takiing me to 25. Can I have the spinning smiley... or have I spoilt my chances.;)?

Congratulations on smashing your target. :T

    Hi micron,
Of course you're forgiven, I was only joking:D:D:D

Just awarded you the spinning smiley now, so all complete. Well done for a brilliant month:j:j:j:j

That's really sad anonymoose. It doesn't matter whether it's a dog, cat, giraffe, guineapig or stick insect - if you're attached to the animal it's a loss to you and should be treated as such. Some people can be narrow-minded about how you should feel when losing an animal and that's a real shame, after all, we're all different.

It takes time to get over the loss of a loved pet, be kind to yourself, things will get easier but it does take time. Like Herby, I've been there as well and it hurts to start with, but with time the hurt will ease and you'll start to remember the good times.

    ((((hugs))))

Hi jintyb, great encouragement about caravan holiday, I might even think about it myself now. Don't think I could do camping though, I like my comforts too much:):)

Between a poorly poota & mithering muvva, I managed to finish June on the grand total of 23 nsds. Think that's a record for me!
