July thread is up and running. Anyone who has already posted their target on here should be on the new front page, if I've forgotten you, sorry:o:o:o, please put a post on the July thread and I'll add you asap.

Looking forward to another month of insanity, fun and no spend days:):):)

What does a trotting pony mean? Sorry being dumb and thank you :)

    Hi rentawitch
No, you're not being dumb at all. Have a look at the first post on the thread - it's the "prize" you get for getting to your target - the front page is awash with trotting ponies, dancing bananas, headspinning smileys and one lone back-flipping penguin:D:D:D

my essentials would also include babywipes and something to carry water in (like an empty 2L juice bottle) so you don't need to walk back and forth to the water tap each time you want a cuppa :) also a freezerbox thingy for keeping the drinkies cold - noone likes a warm cocktail!

Interesting, and slightly scatalogical, conversation going on here today, started by dopey, of course:rotfl::rotfl: Shame I've got to go back to work and no time to join in:(:(

    Have fun - back later

Oooh Allie, that was very accidental, but OMG, do you mean we won't have a tap?????
Where will I put the (rather large) dog?
I can just see him tearing across a field with my bum sticking out the remains of the tent, whose Idea was this anyway????:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

NSD no 18 for me, means I've hit my original AND my extended target! July will be a month full of NSDs, am hoping to visit the parents so I won't be spending money on trash....but I will be taking some clothes down to mother dearest for her and my little sis...both losing weight but both still bigger than me!
    ** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **
    ** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
    **SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

    Evening

Well I've managed it! Today was NSD no 12:j:j so target reached please Spoon.

Mainyasha - I know how you feel - my cupboards are bare, the freezer is half empty and there is about an inch of milk left! But it was worth it for my pony - just hope OH and the kids think so!

But as we have no food :( I've had to bring my Thursday shop forward to tomorrow which I know is a slight cheat on my Grocery budget but I will charge to June what I use tomorrow and the rest to July (so a spend day I'm afraid).

    Well done to everybody :)

Oh yeah definately worth it franby64, the feeling of being able to get through it is just really really amazing.

Funny thing is, we never actually starve, that last bit of left-overs will enable us to realise that the possibilities are endless with food, you can experiment, combine anything and everything to make a meal.:p I dare not say some of the meals I had to come up with this month:eek:, but hey ho, I got my pony:j:j, and i would repeat them many times over;)

I used to have this sense of insecurity when the fruit, milk, bread, veg etc was running low, but now that's all changed.

    ......and one lone back-flipping penguin:D:D:D
and he's mine, all mine :D

Can I have my 'spinning on head' smiley as well please Spoon? I was soooooooo tempted by a Whoopsied Toffee Cake today, but (having spotted it at 2:30pm) I managed to convince myself I could only have it if it was still there when I clocked out at 5pm - and it had gone by 4pm. Not sure whether to be sad or happy about that unknown.gif

Anyway, that means I'm up to 18 NSDs :T

Definitely not going back out tonight, as I need to re-sort my freezers so I can make an 'essentials' shopping list for tomorrow morning (D/Deb day, so makes sense to get things like chips and sweetcorn that I need in the next week now I'm only counting Total NSDs) - and also so I can see how much space I can get in one place. Then I need to start freezing the 8kg of soup and 14kg of pasta sauce that arrived this morning
