Yay!! I've done it! NSDs for me yesterday and today which brings me to my total of 10. :T
I thought 10 would be a relatively easy target to meet, but actually found it a lot harder than expected, so this challenge has opened my eyes to those little spends that soon add up.
Can't beat my target as tomorrow will be a spend day, so am debating whether to go for 11 in July.
Thanks for running the challenge and good luck to everyone who's almost there or has already done it :beer:"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Declaring today as NSD #17 - so that's my penguin please Spoon :T
Took a strong will though - and a strong desire to get my spinning person for exceeding target (please K/eeze don't bring my order tomorrow, as that's now the only thing that can wreck things for me)!!!
Got an email saying my App Foods order is coming tomorrow, and as I'm out from 9-10am (voluntary work) and 12:45-5:20 (work) I decided I daredn't add an extra hour to my outings before 9am (for a run and shopping for the school snacks)
So I went out for my run, and then straight to work for the food - and made the mistake of checking out the Whoopsies :eek: They had about a dozen large tubs of double cream down to 19p each, and a couple of packs of large Naans (two to a pack) for 15p...... and I soooooo nearly put some of the cream and both packs of Naan into my basketBut I didn't

Evening
Well I've managed it! Today was NSD no 12:j:j so target reached please Spoon.
Mainyasha - I know how you feel - my cupboards are bare, the freezer is half empty and there is about an inch of milk left! But it was worth it for my pony - just hope OH and the kids think so!
But as we have no foodI've had to bring my Thursday shop forward to tomorrow which I know is a slight cheat on my Grocery budget but I will charge to June what I use tomorrow and the rest to July (so a spend day I'm afraid).
Well done to everybodyAugust Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Chaos round here tonight, large traveller camp immediately behind my house & they are determined to have a very large noisy party complete with fires, barking dogs & quad bike racing, they make the chavs in the alley look like angels!!!
That's set off the alcoholic next door but one, who is out in the garden having a protracted rant about it at the top of her voice while her husband tries to extend the fence even higher than it already is, with any random bits of wood he can find :eek:, which means next door's dogs are all upset & won't stop barking!!!!!
Am sure no one will believe me if i tell them it's normally a really nice area to live :rotfl:
Had to use the dryer again, as couldn't run the risk of hanging out my bed sheets & having them smelling like smoke, & with all the noise sleep looks a long way off tonight :mad:
& to top it all of i had to spend earlier as i needed to post some ebay stuff & get some milk for work, was in half a mind whether or not to claim these as the ebay postage was paid for & i can claim the milk back, but then i had a sudden craving for supernoodles, so a low spend, but a spend nonetheless, so tomorrow has to be a NSD if i am going to get my nana.... i can do it (if for no reason other than at this rate i will be too tired to go treking to the shops!!!)
Right off to trawl for some trashy tv to watch for a bit.... well done to everyone who has met their targets.... Spoon you are a marvel getting into the 20's!!! :AFebruary NSD challenge 5/150 -
