Aw, thanks Spoon!! A bit of sunshine and the thought of a long-awaited day off tomorrow does the soul a world of good!
Home from work and no intention of going anywhere now so pleased to report that today is NSD number 13Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0 -
Today was a spend day (petrol for vroom vroom, food for fridge, birthday pressie & card for sis in law and a prescription for me!) But I'm glad that i got everything done as although it seems a lot to spend on one day before i would have just bought it in dribs and drabs over the course of a week, as opposed to planning ahead and buying all in one day which results in me spending less over all as im less tempted by extras like a coffee or juice or bits and bobs for me
a result for me but sadly a spend day! Those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter0 -
Another one for me... whoooo hooo 1 to go0

Hi Spoon
Might not have been posting but have been counting, I'm at 8 for this month so far (although suspect I will fall short of the target), still 8 is better than none.

Spend day for me again today - so still no dancing banana
Had some 'odd' rolls for packing into 4 roll variety packs - so I packed the 4 I like best and put them to one side for meI was already considering spending, as DS has been complaining about catering for himself - most of the meals I leave need watching, so when he wanders back to his PC (and forgets them) he has a habit of burning things
So having clocked off (and collected my rolls) I went to check out the frozen ready meals - then phoned home to see which he fancied. He now has Pizza for one day (already in the freezer) and Toad in the Hole for the other...... both of which he can cook in the combi oven, so even if he forgets about them it'll turn itself off for him
And as I was already spending, I went and checked out mark-downs - meaning I also came home with three packs of 'Light' Roulle cheese (35p each instead of £1.37), which I've risked putting in the freezer as they'll only be used to make sauces anyway
Hoping tomorrow will be an NSD - and I may even be able to get on-line to declare it !!! I'm taking my laptop and external disk to OHs this weekend (have some backing up needs doing, so can get on with that while he's playing on-line poker and watching the England game on Sunday), so I'm going to try and sweet talk him into letting me briefly use his wireless connection (though it will probably be his son sets it up for me). I'm hoping that pans out, as it takes me aaaaaggggeeeesss to catch up from Friday evening after I get home from work on MondayCheryl0 -

Hi All
Sorry not posted for a while on this thread. I have actually managed more than my 5 NSD more like 10, however could be an expensive month coming up with the car so will really need to watch the pennies.
Hope all are well.
