Soooo after all that rambling....5 NSD's for me please?! :rotfl:
I wouldn't count a mystery shop as a spend if you get the money back.....................

Yes I'll bring some.......think I might do some coconut one's as well and melt some chocolate to go on the top........... How many do you think I need to do?..20?..50??.....give us a clue.PLEASE:)
Can you please let me know how you adapt the recipe for this sort?
(I luuurrrrve Bounty bars, and apparently my OH likes them too so clearly isn't anti-coconut -- means this could be something he'd eat if I make them)
I've been meaning to have a go at Twinks Hobnobs for over 12 months now, but not made the time even once :eek:Cheryl0 -
Well I'm going a bit slow this month and today was not a no spend day, but I did go into my bank and instruct them to reduce my overdraft by £100 come payday, only £200 to go after that and I don't have an overdraft in the whole wide world (excuse the dramaticsm but I'm excited, especially as it will be a while before I can say I've busted credit cards and so on.

Another (avid-ish) reader here....
I tend to hit books in fits and starts - reading nothing for months and then several in the space of week. I do find, however, that I rarely read at home for some reason
When OH and I had our weekend away last month I read a book that DS got me for Christmas (one of 9 books by 2 different authors - but this was the first of them I'd picked up to read.... shame on me)
Wasn't sure whether I'd get to OH's on Friday while the England game was stil on, so took a book with me (with the intention of plugging my MP3 player in so I couldn't hear the match either), but I got there after it had finished (went via DDs) so didn't need it.
But on Saturday he fancied playing some on-line poker - something his elder DS is getting him into - which he said wouldn't take long. I told him to take his time, and curled up with book (of which I'd read 20 pages) and MP3 player. Totally finished the book before he finished his poker (read about 300 pages), so had to settle for just my music (and a doze) while he was playing again yesterday (with the football on so he could keep one eye and ear on that.... he did offer me the remote to change channel, but I was happy enough with my music - and another doze)
He commented I'd have to buy some more books, to which I replied I've still got at least 7 from last Christmas to go at - and one from the previous Christmas. I then have a mountain of books I've bought (like Jinty, mainly from charity shops) to work through as well. Mind, if I start getting through at least two books every time I'm at his for the weekend, then they're not going to last me very long
There's only one author/series of books I'll pay "full" price for - and even those I order at discounted prices on-line rather than getting from a high street book store. The last one to come out in paperback was released in Oct 2008, and the next one (which I'm watching for on a regular basis) has already been delayed twice and isn't even giving an ETA anymoreCheryl0 -

I know what you mean about clothes TMVen, I hate buying them as I can never find the sort I want that will fit my huge behind and b00bs and don't cost the earth, but it does make me feel better about myself if I get something that I like and fits and it ices the cake if DH approves as well
