:jMythi: well done for no 7 - you have made your target so the little pony will now be yours - that’s brilliant! :j
Do you want to increase your target and aim for the dancing banana, or are you happy to have a “target exceeded” head-spinning smiley?0 -

I've had 2 vouchers from them so 2 out of the 3 books are on their way, they may or may not be any good but hey, free books from buying weekly groceries can't be all bad.
Thanks for that Karen - I didnt know about that offer - I will certainly be investigating that! I love to read! I've got a pile of books to get through though! I rarely pay full price though, I either swap through ReaditSwapIT, go to the library, or charity shop. The last time I went to the library they were selling off a load of books for 30p each - I bought about 10! Well, I would have been rude not to!:rotfl:karenccs67 wrote: »Tomorrow I'm making a lemon and chocolate gateaux at college so something yummy to have with a cuppa.
Well I woke up this morning with my floral headband crushed over one eye, my kaftan tucked in my knickers and a corned beef and onion sandwich in my hand. What the h**l was in that mead?
Off to track down the caravanette - its a long drive home from Stonehenge.
On the plus side, yesterday was NSD #10 for me, planning another today as I have a mountain of ironing to do and I dont need to buy anything( when has that ever stopped me I hear you cry!)
Have a great day everyone!:)

well I did tell you that stone was wobbly, its taken me all night to dig myself out with a Spoon (geddit a Spoon!!). and I see you've all scooped the mead and the sarnies and anything else that wasn't nailed down.
That was a lot of funny chanting going on at the crack of dawn and that man was quite funny, he tripped over his beard twice then got upset when Hubert tried to trim it for him.
Aliens not happy as their pal's arrival delayed and have to come into another landing spot, somewhere in Orkney I think.
Must zip now as have to belt up to the other end of the country, one good thing for the first time I haven't got a head like a badger's bum, can't say the rest of you are looking exactly fantastic, you're all to one side Nargle, must have been sleeping on that stone..............More than Two Years in
Doing it the Niddy way:j:j:j0 -
Morning all, sorry I missed the Stonehenge bash, my little dragon was very disappointed as he'd been practising lighting fires all week! Glad to see you all had a super time, I noticed on the BBC news website a report saying that only 20,000 people went to the henge this year as opposed to 36,000 last year, I'm wondering if they knew the NSD crew were going lol! So far it seems that nobody was arrested which is good news and all the stones still seem to be standing.
After the past week I crashed like a zombie after we'd been food shopping and I spent yesterday catching up on sleep and did nothing much but watch the TV and water the plants in the garden. I didn't manage to resist the pull of the herbs at the NEC Spoon, but DH paid for them for me as a treat, only got 4 mind you, I was very restrained and I got a discount from the stands I bought stuff from as I had my exhibitor pass on, so DH saved some money there and was chuffed. I enjoyed the trip around the Good Food show as well, lots of nibbles Mmmm free pizza and ice cream and lots of drinkie poos for free, I was absolutely in love with the new banoffee vodka I sampled, but as nice as it was £20 was not coming out of my purse to buy it! Got a lovely goodie bag on the way out of the show with all sorts of free stuff in it, DH also picked one up so we had two of everything, the kitchen cleaner and fabric softener samples are perfect for taking on holiday so that's were they've gone and between me and DH we blagged enough toothpaste samples to last a while and for sensitive teeth to
Did a lot of spending this weekend but from other budgets but as far as my NSD challenge is concerned the grocery budget only had spends yesterday so Saturday was another NSD for me taking my total to 15. I think today and tomorrow will be NSD's as well, got some stuff to post from A*azon sales but that doesn't come out of this budget and I've made another £25 to put towards Xmas hurrah! Went to B&M yesterday and got 2 new fitted sheets and 2 pairs of pillowcases and a new shower curtain and had change from £13, not been before so I was impressedneeded the extra sheets for the spare room, DH's auntie comes to house sit for us when we go away, she gets to see the local relatives and has a mini holiday here and we don't have to worry about plants not getting watered, house being empty etc when we go away. The old sheets are going to get used as dust sheets when we decorate the front room after our hols.
yes I'm that sad I'm counting the days lol! Getting excited now as its only 24 days until we go.
Well done to everyone on your NSD achievements, lovely to see all those little ponies romping along the front page, off to peg out some washing now and then get some ironing done. Have a lovely day everyone.
