Just a quick update before i slump into a glass of vino.
DD unfortunately had a bad night last night- back on drips and whatnot. So we wait and see.
This weekend was supposed to be great for her, as she has won an award for a short film she did whilst at college and is now unable to attend. I bought her tickets for a Korn concert as a pressie for working hard and she can't go. So she is quite down and i have found it a bit hard going today trying to remain cheerful and i just feel for her.
She seemed a bit better when we left tonight.
I also feel a bit miffed with Mr.B, who for some reason is doing his up most to be Mr.Whiny and wind me up..he really needs to watch out for the spade..lol
DS is being great as usual and has made a late tea/supper for us all using beans/tesco 9p curry sauce and rice- ultra frugal and filling..sniffles proudly. His dad could take some lessons from him that's for sure.
So i am going before i too turn into Whingy Mrs B..night all. xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

Well big hugs to you and DD - a manly shake of the hand for DS, and a manly shake of the throat for Mr B.

Sorry i haven't been about. DD2 is still in hospital, she keeps having to go back on the drips for insulin and re hydration- it is a bit of a worry. She has come off again this afternoon, so fingers crossed she stays off. The docs are looking into whether or not she needs to change her insulin so that may help.
I also contracted the lurgy, so have not been able to visit yesterday and todayBut i didn't want to give her anything else.
That's about it really.
