Wednesday, didn't really get any better for the Bob household as DD2 ended up being admitted to hospital again:o
Her blood sugar level was off the scale and ketones were in her blood- cue vomiting etc.
Good news is that they have managed to get her blood sugar level down and she is stable at the moment. She looks very washed out though and will be staying in for the night.

I hope they find out what is causing it, as it is very frightening when this just spikes out of nowhere..something has been dragging her down all summer and she has been off colour, she has been treated for a water infection but nothing specific has shown up from the results.

I feel quite weary with it all the moment. Just wish i could make it better.

Big hugs for you and DD - you're both going through it right now. :grouphug:

Thanks Z- It seemed she was doing really well last night, then she has had a bit of a setback and been bad again all night- Acid Ketones in her blood again. The docs are getting their heads together and hopefully she will be on the right track again soon.

It is worrying me a bit.:o

oooh hugs bob, bless you, I know its a cliche, but she is in the best possible hands, doctors now are fantabulous, and with their heads together I am sure they will come up with the right answer to help DD.

Fantastic news on the marathon place. I am not in the marathon but am getting caught up by everyones enthusiasm and think I best dust off my running shoes and start running too.

    Hi Bob :hello:

Hugs to you and DD, I'm sure it's a worry but as everyone has said, there's no better than the NHS so she's in the best hands :)

And massive WELL DONE on getting the LM place :T:T:T I considered it, but I'm too chicken :o so will be cheering you all on from the virtual sidelines (ie: the sofa :p)
