I'm getting 2 weeks off for good behavior soon. Can't wait.

Still smiling Bob?
Cor are they letting you out then George?:p:rotfl:
I love being busy, even if it is reading or whatnot. Sadly it is my way of relaxing- i get a bit of a buzz out of seeing things happen.:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Well on cunning plan update.
DD2 is off to friends on Saturday so i am going to sort her bedroom out then- turnaround should be pretty quick and it will be a lovely surprise for her when she gets back:D
On other cunning plan fronts- now don't all faint with shock.
I think i owe MIL a kind of apology-When i say kind of, i mean as in it may well have been a bit of an impetus for Mr.B to act. Oh yes, you heard it hear folks:cool::eek:
He wrote me a letter, put down everything he wanted to say, but couldn't as he has difficulty in expressing himself. Eldest DD has had a word with him as well and he has finally found the courage to take the next step. I would share it with you, but it is his and rather personal. He has admitted he is depressed, which takes a lot of guts and he is making an appt to go the docs about it. Even if he has some Counselling it is a massive start.:T
He is a hard worker and the long hours have taken their toll a bit on him as well. He hasn't been sleeping either, but it has mainly been since this last fall out which did really open his eyes- well for the moment (as he is a react to the moment person) It has only taken him a year and half(this time) to get round to realising some things:o:o:o:o But he is there and i feel it is genuine.
So just thought i would share- he also put down a plan in his letter and worked out how he was going to approach things- i think that was the bit i was most pleased/impressed with.
The second bit of cunning plans- and they weren't mine.Mr.B, DD1 and DD1's Hubby have colluded with DD2 and DS and they have booked us in a hotel for our Anniversary.:eek::eek: It is absolutely lovely. Mr.B has also put his bonus towards it. I am totally overwhelmed by it.
So i have been out planned by cunning bobettes.:rotfl::rotfl:
That is my bit of good news for the day

Oh Bob, that must have been really hard for him - I'm pleased that he is taking steps.. sad that the steps have to be taken of course, but it's progress.
Lovely news about the hotel as well - that must have been an amazing surprise!

xx
It was hard for him Squizz- it is hard for me to watch it all as well. I always thought i was pretty bad at explaining my feelings- i tend to bottle up then explode ( or since MSE and fb write:eek:) He obviously needed someone to talk to about it. So glad now things have happened the way they did- i didn't like it, but i needed to hear it as much as he needed to say it.
And yes, it is an amazing surprise. They have even thought of something for another celebration as well. They know we weren't having a party,or wanted presents, but said how about one where we can raise money for charity? So in the future there will be plans in place for a party that all proceeds will go to Diabetes UK. I just thought wow- these are some amazing kids. I am more than happy to do that and it will be a lovely thing to do- commemorating the anniversary in that way-gives it a lot of meaning to me. Some might say 25 years has a lot of meaning any way, but this will make it extra special.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

[STRIKE]1.Clean carpets, they are rather rank at the moment.[/STRIKE]#and the couch:D
2.Wash down windows
3. Mow lawn
4. Tidy out wardrobes and really get rid of stuff
5. sort out bedding and put into bedding boxes under bedCurrently untidy in airing cupboard-which has a broken door on it. This was one Mr.B was going to fix a few years ago- being the cussed woman i am i have left it as a reminder he promised. But 5 years is too long and it is getting fixed.
6. sort out bathroom- fix leaky toilet and re hang radiator
7. [STRIKE]Meal plan[/STRIKE]
8.plot out essay for next term.
9. [STRIKE]Organise resources in proper files and put in new shelves in cupboard- formerly known as the airing cupboard:rotfl:[/STRIKE]
10. Paint DD2's bedroom as a treat- re make the blind, i have the material and really will only take me about an hour tops. I should have done this before.
There that little lot should keep me busy! Some may take me longer than the week though.lol
Had a busy day today- thought the carpet smelled a bit funky, only to find that my mother had spilled a drink all over the place and not cleaned it up- barf:o I thought summat had died and been buried under the patio;):rotfl: So all cleaned and cushions covers off the couch for good measure, i even wiped the wood work and have got a sweat on now.lol
A few other things done as well and will finish quite a bit off tomorrow at this rate. I have also wrote down a list of little fixit jobs.:D
Oh and i squeezed another deal out of talk talk- looking forward to a new modem soon.
Three lots of washing done, despite the weather. lol.
DD2 had diabetic eye test this afternoon so will wait for those results- and that;s about it-
Oh and the shred DVD arrived today- but i am knackered from carpet cleaning.:D:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Well i can cross the windows off my list and another two piles of washing
Other than that, i really need to get on top of food budget this month. Surprised me how- i let that one get out of control. I just took my eyes off the ball a bit there and went over by about £100- not good.:( Was £300 *gulp*
So that will be nipped in the bud for August.
Spends diary up and running again-shocking how the little things do mount up - so very much back to basics again.
That's about it really.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
