You misunderstand, my opinion (I am the OP) matters little - I simply wish to establish a POV from bank employees, I posted yesterday that I don't want this thread descending into farce and that remains, basically i'd like any input from bank employees.

If anyone starts causing trouble or slagging off the bank staff we'll have the posts removed - that is not what this thread is about.

If you got a bonus and wish to declare how you spend it that is your prerogative, however nobody will come here and call you names - that will simply not happen as we'll have the posts removed.

Hope that clears things up :D:D

so come on, fess up - what do you know :whistle:

Banker is a different breed to someone who happens to be employed by the bank (no offence intended).
Very small minority of thousands working for banks can be called "A Bankers".

Once again, it would be interesting to hear from bank employees. As NID says you won't be ridiculed or harassed. It would be very interesting to get an inside view on strategies and policy, particularly on "Unenforcability". Don't be shy!

    Hiya

Its fine, so how was life at HSBC then? We used to have shelfstacker and AN Other on here that worked there and told us a lot.... I know all banks use the hard sell, I was with my gran and she went to pay a cheque in and cos her balance was high they (Lloyds) hassled her to invest - she told them she was 70 and investing is the last thing she's worried about, good job I was there cos they kept pushing and pushing until I told the cashier to button it or i'd report her to the FSA!! Its shocking - targets eh? :rotfl:
