The virgin site has been slow and timing out for the last 2 days. It also went squiffy when I ordered my 8 that is why 3 got bought between nos 6 and 8.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0

The clever way to get the most out of Virgin Mobile is to COMBINE the offers from various sources. e.g.
1. Go to www.virginmobile.com/oneaccount for the best 20% phone discount
2. 'Buy' a Nokia 3200 for £47.99 plus £8 SIM/credit = £55.99
3. Replace /oneaccount with /lifestylerewards for the free £20 voucher
4. Buy another Nokia 3200
Basket now has 2 phones and a £20 voucher
5. Reduce the QTY of phones to 1
You now have the same basket as at 2., but including a FREE £20 voucher.
6. Complete your transaction.
I used this method over a year ago and I'm glad to say it still works.
If you don't want to use the phone on Virgin, you can unlock it for free at www.trycktill.com/eng and sell the Virgin voucher and SIM on eBay. You've then got a brand new camera phone for about £35.
Needless to say, the 'combination method' will work for any phone you choose - not just Nokias. If you use it for the very cheap Nokia 1100 you'll pay £23.99 for the phone, £20 voucher and SIM with a further £5 credit.
You could even use this method to top-up an existing Virgin phone for cheaper than buying the £20 credit. Sell on the unlocked Nokia 1100 for, say £15 and the SIM for £3 and you've got £20 credit for £2.
And if you join rpoints for cashback - then there is scope to squeeze a further 2.5% cashback. PM me if you would like to earn £5 cashback for new rpoints joiners.0 -

stub - YOU ARE A STAR
Was going to take advantage of the original offer without your master plan, but I tried it and IT WORKS..
What's more, using GreasyPalm, you can get 3.5% cashback
So, my deal was -
Siemens A60 @ £23.99
Includes £5 on sim and extra £20 vouher = £25 credit
84p in cashback
So the £25 worth of call credit will really cost £23.15and I effectively get the phone for FREE
Cheers to the OP and to stub4510 -
And what's more.........
I ordered just before midnight on Friday, and the phone came today (a Sunday!)
Could I ask for more?

Just worked OK for me using the Nokia 1100 example.
Check your typing.
1. www.virginmobile.com/oneaccount for the 20% phone discount.
2. www.virginmobile.com/lifestylerewards for the £20 voucher.
Good luck!0 -
I'm not sure the 20% off is supposed to be available. If you look at the T&C it says:This offer is available until 4th January 2005.0
