Co-Op "Multisave" Loophole

This works at sainsburys too, although they normally are aware of the issue, so don't apply a big reduction. But sometimes (around christmas) because of how busy it is and them wanting to clear the fresh stock-you can get some cracking bargains.:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

I tried this a while back in Co-op on an offer on some buns. The guy clocked onto what I was doing and so he cancelled the items and put them through using a generic barcode and manually typed in the reduced price!! I was buying loads of other things as well, so the negative/close to to zero price wasn't an issue.0

Ive being doing the multisave thing for years,i check out things like sausages, when they are reduced to 40p and are on buy1 get 1 free they are normally £2 ich so i get payed £1.60 every 2 packs i buy:j different item you can get paid more, like chicken breasts when they are buy 1 get 1 free, ive managed on several occasions getting £15 to £20 credit,so i buy cigs and phone top up etc to cover myself.:j0

I remember this did work last year at Sainsbury's (I now shop at Tesco for the Clubcard points, or Waitrose/Asda to use money-off coupons). I remember buying some cheese pizzas for 20p each which were on BOGOF, bought as many as I could fit in the freezer, for one of my kids' birthday parties, and earned money towards my other shopping.
But does anyone know, does it work at Asda? I don't think it works at Tesco now, their tills are a bit better than before I suppose....can anyone confirm which stores are currently IN or OUT of this glitch?
I see from other posts that Waitrose and the Co-op have been confirmed as IN!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Haven't managed it in Asda since last year so don't know about theirs.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I got 3 packs of £2.89 Salmon Fillets Reduced to £1, 2 £1.15 Twin Packs of Garlic Bread Reduced to £1, 2 £2.29 Burgers Reduced to £1.70 & on b1g1f, 4 53p Muller rices for free with offer and a bottle of lynx shower gel for £1.99 which totaled about £8!
This was in The Coop, with reductions and offers
This is proper money saving! This would of been at least £16 otherwise!0 -
My local Asda has signs up (not official ones, just printed off a computer by the store) that says any BOGOF's or multisaves etc don't apply to any reduced price goods. Looks like their store manager has cottoned on and taken matters into his own hands.0

Waitrose is also great for getting reductions. They often make huge cuts at the end of the day and the BOGOF or other reductions are taken off at the till as well. This quite often means, if you shop carefully, getting items for pennies or even being paid to take them away0

Hi
Tesco use a handheld scanner type for their reductions.I have yet to buy a
BOGOF in the reduced area, but believe what ever the reduced price shown is,you would get the same amount discounted again at the end of your receipt.

Hi, I think your right re Tesco. They used to credit you with the original BOGOF value though. When items went into the reductions cabinets, towards the end of the sell by day, they used to then reduce the item to 10p as this cut the percieved wastage cost. This effectively meant free cash & believe it or not, Tesco's used to open their till & give you the cash!...0
