    FRUG!!

I've just measured the cooker which I am convinced was a 90cm width and its an 80 cm width.... back to the drawing board.

    Paid the gas bill.

I bought a cupboard 10cm narrower so my cooker would fit

I'm trying to work out whats best to do, the cheapest way and how painless it could be.

Luckily I doubled checked the measurements....I can imagine hubby's face if I'd gone ahead and ordered something...**shudder**:rotfl: I'm not known for my precise measuring...think thats why he's so grey because he has to deal with all my mistakes.

There is a gap either side of the current cooker which measures just over 90cm including gap and cooker so if I can find someone who can cut down the worktop overhang and remove the tiles from the kickboards to cut them to size....it might work with a 90cm.

I'll have to get it sorted though otherwise hubby will have kittens.

Chickens are currently spreading the compost round the garden.:D

Not sure what happened to the energy I had yesterday - I'm motivated, but since lunch I've struggled to achieve much and feel washed out. I'm worried about pushing myself too much, as I really need to get through the last half-term without time off, and it's going to be another busy one.

The playhouse walls and ceiling are de-webbed and dusted, and the floor is next. I also nipped into our little town to check the carpet shop for a cushion floor off-cut (play house size). at the prices, so I came back empty-handed.

DH has gone to his bowles match and he won't be back until around 8pm. DS2 has asked for some food and I'm getting peckish, so I'll have a scrounge in the kitchen in a minute. I really, really want to start moving toys into the playhouse tonight, though, so I'll update later.
