You must not miss the children's railway. Great Belgian bar on the embankment near the foot of the funicular. Russwarm cafe by the castle for great coffee and cakes.

The central market hall is brilliant -- including hearty cheap feeds on the upper floor. And I'll second sunnyp about the thermal baths: we dipped at the Gellert Hotel baths, a fantastic experience and well worth the money.0

You must try the All you can eat Cake buffet at the Marriott Hotel - it's in the cafe in the lobby - some divine cake for about £5.
Also the restaurant Belcanto in the Opera district has Opera singing waiters -we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there

Went to the Belcanto as reccomended by 'Gizzmo' https://www.belcanto.hu Had a phenominal meal & a great night. Ate '5 Star' nosh, for what I felt was a good price. Thanks for the posting GizzmoMark Hughes' blue and white army0
