Glad to see the market has turned so strongly against those charlatans.

What with the whoppers you tell, a position writing for the Daily Xpress could be the perfect job for you. Although you might have to cut down on the smilies a little bit. :rotfl::T:beer::j :eek:StiflersMom wrote: »I agree that it is an awful right wing little England rag.0 -
What actual financial distress did anyone suffer, apart from maybe not being able to buy another house if they were in negative equity?StiflersMom wrote: »I miss those - the sheer arrogance and hubris at seeing so many people in financial distress was breathtaking.

Anyone remember the headlines one day in 2003 in the Mail and Express? One loudly shouted house prices were set to rocket, the other one shouted they were set to tumble...I didn;t take much interest in it back then .. but its still the same gamble today.. who knows?0

Well I don't know which edition of the Daily Express is being referred to here because the front page of mine reads:
ELVIS COMING BACK
ELVIS Presley is set to return to pre-1977 days as early as next year as a result of the continuing nationwide shortage of anything decent to listen to, information to be released tomorrow indicates.
Though at one point rumoured to be dead, Presley was actually discovered by Daily Express reporters driving a bus on the Moon.
Says Assets House Price Watch:
'This is great news for music lovers and property owners everywhere. Elvis's return to Graceland will not only push up Memphis real estate prices, the effect will spread throughout the rest of the USA and then the UK."
In a further development last night, missing band leader Glenn Miller landed back in England. Stepping out of the C64 military transport plane he told the Express:
'Jeez, Croydon Airport's changed a bit.'
Said Assets House Price Watch:
'This is great news for music lovers and property owners everywhere. Glenn Miller's return to England will not only push up Croydon real estate prices, the effect will spread throughout the rest of the UK and then the USA.'

Poor article with the experts being the discredited Assetz property rampers.
And yet they maintain far more credibility than the discredited Moneyweek crash rampers.....
Assetz were the only one of the major forecasters to correctly call the recovery at the start of last year.;)
Of more interest is their observation that the combined total for 5 of the main indices leaves property just 6.5% below peak this month.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Unemployment up, FTB at lowest level for 20 years, wages not rising, UK is skint, taxes will have to go up, more housing coming onto the market.............yet some muppet thinks a return to peak will happen in under a year?
There must be a new legal high available0
