HOUSE prices are set to return to pre-credit crunch levels as early as next year as a result of the continuing nationwide housing shortage, figures to be released tomorrow indicate.


I personally had peak prices down for late this year.

    Poor article with the experts being the discredited Assetz property rampers.

    Property speculator company says prices will go up, shock horror.:eek:

    As usual ignoring all economic fundamentals.

    With all due respect to the OP, you'd be much better off quoting economic articles from the Beano rather than the Daily Express.

    Those fundamentals havent helped much with things so far. Shouldnt we be at least 40% down by now?

    Its coming. At least interest rates can't be lowered any more and there is overwelming preasure to raise them. Another inflation rise will put the BOE in a pickle.

    lol the express always makes me laugh. I use it for cheap toilet paper and sometimes glimpse the house price ramping headlines.

    The housing market is ROCKETING!! It's fcuking going mental! Get your 10% shared ownership flat while you still can!

    Some people thought there would be a 70% overall, others had signatures that stated 50% by christmas 2009
