They do all smell a bit granny like and I couldn't find anywhere on the website that actually stated what scent each of the letters had which might have been useful to know!

Nuninge, check the back of your candle box or the bottom where the label should be, it should tell you what the fragrance is.

The ones i received both said water Lily however from babyplum's post, its seem there might be different scents.

I hope so, have another 5 comming, dont think i can bear it of they all smell this nasty.

Hi all. Yes, nuffin there are different scents but as you said I couldn't see them listed on the website. I got E, S and V and they were Peony and Rose, Cedar and Lavender and Water Lily respectively. They def. are not worth £4.50 but not battered as earlier poster experienced. Was devastated by the fact that one of the breakables I ordered was smashed to smithereens when I got it out of the box. I have left a message and emailed to ask what they will do about it (I think the item is now OOS) so I will have to wait and see. It wasn't well packaged and the box (marked fragile) Had a hole in the side of it by the time it got to me!

Hey bexster1975, sorry to hear that your item was smashed to smiternies, hopefully bombay duck are better with thier customer service then thier packing and posting service.

Re Candles - think i've worked out what scents are which Letters based on colour of boxes:

From previous posts:
D - Hyacinth and Blueberry
E - Peony and Rose
F - Water Lilly
P - Hyacinth and Blueberry
S - Cedar and Lavender
V - Water Lily

So:
A, E, I, M, Q, U, Y - Peony and Rose
B, F, J, N, R, V, Z - Water Lilly
C, G, K, O, S, W - Cedar and Lavender
D, H, P, T, X - Hyacinth and Blueberry

Not that its helps me and most of mine are still Water Lilly:(, least i'll have 1 cedar and lavender (i hope).
Shame as i really like blueberries.

p.s. my candles were blue

Actually i strongly feel this company are letting their standards slip. I have bought from them for quite some time but my last order was awful. I ordered quite a few things and the boxes were bashed (candles), some crystal hanging things were chipped. It really did look like mega old stock that had been lying in their store for years. Naturally i complained and they send replacements but was shocked to see the same crystal hanging ornaments chipped again, so i just left it at that.

Won't be ordering again as it's really a hit or miss with this Company sadly....

I agree with Leona. My order arrived with one item less than I ordered, but thankfully was not charged for that item. The purse I ordered looks like it is a returned item or one that has been on display for a while. Very disappointed. I also ordered two candles and they are ok. I wouldn't have ordered them at full price.
The only positive really is the packaging. It came nicely wrapped in tissue paper and of course, thanks to the code, it was free.

Rather disappointed as I have ordered from them before and was very happy.

I am hoping they don't expect me to send it back to them (I emailed a photo of plate of many pieces!) and that if they can't replace it they will refund.:)

mine arrived, I had ordered 4 alphabet candles so came to £4, they arrived in good condition, wrapped in spotty tissue paper and then in a silver bag, i was really pleased (and by the sounds of it, lucky)

Received my order yesterday morning...7 of the alphabet candles..all undamaged and very impressed with how they were wrapped.Loved the tissue paper(am easily pleased tho..lol)..
