Thanks very much for this! Have bought a load of the 'alphabet' candles as Xmas presents for work colleagues (plus a few as stocking fillers for relatives).:j
Hope they're as nice as they look on the website.
PS - I missed the frontpage on the website which has % off certain spend amounts just to warn others so they don't miss out.:(

I placed an order on Sunday which arrived today, after I'd emailed them to enquire as to why I'd received no order onfirmation email or dispatch email and why I couldn't log in to my account on their website to check the order status. I got nowhere with my enquiry but at least I did receive what was ordered.
Their whole set up seems rather hit-and-miss: this is a pity, as I'd be tempted to use the company again for gifts, etc. if only I had confidence in their ability to administer things properly and communicate with their customers effectively.

Re Alphabet candles - I ordered some of these alphabet candles and they came yesterday, - scent is water lilly which is a bit cheap and nasty for me. There not all that to tell you the truth, defo would not pay £4.50 for one but for £1 it's a cheap gift.

Kudos to bombay duck for the packing it came in, all wrapped nicey in tissue paper.

Just waiting for 2 more orders, hope the other products are better.

They just arrived and i'm actually really dissapointed! :(

I ordered 'D' and 'P' candles and they are both Hyacinth and Blueberrry fragrance which is quite nice.
But the candles themselves are very battered. They look like they have been displayed in a shop and been knocked around for ages. The boxes are all battered at the corners as well.

Yes they were only £1 each but they are in too bad a state to give as gifts and i don't use candles myself. :(

    Hello all,

I received my order today andI'm generally really pleased with the goods. I got 8 of the letter candles that were down to a pound each. They do all smell a bit granny like and I couldn't find anywhere on the website that actually stated what scent each of the letters had which might have been useful to know! THe packaging is a bit poor on some so needs a bit of a stick down but they will be fine and they are only small end of term gifts for colleagues at work.

I ordered myself a pomelo big candle and it smells a bit like toilet clearner but might smell better when burning.

I also received my lovely cowboys and indians curtains and lamp shade. The website does not show a very good picture of these. Although the curtains are incredibly thin (definitely not worth the original almost 50 pounds!), the applique is really nice and actually different on each curtain. THere are six images in total: a wigwam, 2 sheriffs, one with a lassoo, two americal indian girls and a pony. I'm going to cut the lot up to make cushions, wall art and to decorate littlun's blind so hope it all coems to something! The pom pom edging is nice too. Anyone know any good websites to teach me how to sew ha ha!
