Mine were the same. I'm now wondering about complaining if some of you have had success getting vouchers out of them...

just had a responce from T&M on face book
    http://www.facebook.com/pages/Thompson-Morgan-UK/137462075726?ref=ts
they have admited it is Boytrytis and have released a statement on their website
    http://www.thompson-morgan.com/facebook/botrytis
so I guess you all need to complain and get your refunds
pehaps I am just being cynical but I wonder if they would have made this announcement
if I had not put a warning on their facebook page warning others of the risk?

    latest update
shock horror I have had a email responce from customer service in under 36 hours,
I get the feeling I might have caused a headache for them on their facebook page by warning their customers
I have never received a email responce in less than 10 days so I know they rushing into action probably to shut me up

    a further update
I just had the Managing Director phone me up to tell me they are trying to resolve this problem which is good to know its being taken seriously
one thing he did ask If I could return a pack for further investigation sadly I had destroyed all of mine, I have sent a PM to Garnetlady to see if she is able to return a pack but on the off chance she is unable does anyone else have any that could be returned?

Thanks Garnetlady I have sent a PM back

I admit I have used a voucher on this from Gardeners World
    http://www.thompson-morgan.com/plants1/product/pwr91344/1.html
the offer is one per reader so my OH has ordered one, so have all my children

I had been looking at this offer as well
    http://www.thompson-morgan.com/plants1/product/pwr90406/1.html

    both have free P&P

yours is tempting but you can't get free P&P so it works out at 6.20 per bag including P&P

mine you get free P&P but will have to wait till february but are 4.50 each with free seeds as well

if you do go for your offer have a look at the flower seeds at the same time, I noticed if a order is over £7 and you add a pack of seeds they are added for free, sadly only works with flowers not veg (I order all the expensive seeds this way)

I have used the 10 packet of seeds offer a couple of times
    http://www.thompson-morgan.com/plants1/product/pwr90237/1.html
to make a order over a minimum amount just to get the free seeds

my last order worked out like this

    1 x strawberry Sonata £4.50
    1 x10 pack seed offer £2.49
    1 x Begonia x tuberhybrida none stop £4.99

the total should have been £11.98
    but came through as £6.99
after using my voucher I got nearly £12 worth of plants and seeds for £1.99 which saved a couple quid

what seeds I don't use can go on ebay

as you can see I have done a little bit of home work
  • Can you use more than one voucher code per order?

Can you use more than one voucher code per order?

online you can use only one voucher at at time, I have been told you can use more if you phone them but have never tried myself

I received my slimy, half dead pack last week. I posted a complaint on facebook and they asked me to email them direct which I did. In fairness they came back to me the same day and offered me a £10 e-voucher.

Despite being refunded plus a fiver on top it still seems such a shame the plants were so awful.

I have potted then in trays but am keeping them well away from everything else in case they have a disease.
