Sorry, that should be Whisky....been in Norn Iron too long!lol
If you go to Forres just by the clock coming from the Elgin direction, the's a road that goes down a hill just before it with a quiet wee pub,The Red Lion aka The Beastie.Good for a quiet pint.
You'll like it up there.I keep meaning on going back for a hol.0 -

Lossie is lovely, Schools are good. My niece is in school there and she gets on brilliantly. Some brilliant pubs and restaurants, and of course the beach. I'm on orange and coverage is good. Vodaphone and 3 are good in Lossie, but 3 not so good out and about. O2 is patchy, mostly ok but there are some black spots. I'm 8 miles or so from Elgin and I get 3G+ on broadband dongle with Orange. Hope some of that helps. Sure you'll love it! It's a beautiful place.Unfortunately,
MONEY makes the world go round.

I worked at Dr Gray's Hospital around 1999/2000, non-military, but enjoyed reading this thread.
Lived in Burghead, between Lossie and Findhorn, and can certainly recommend the beach walk from Burghead westwards.
And there's a pod of dolphins that live in the Moray Firth, always nice to see.
Lovely pubs in Findhorn.
Is the little cafe Aberlour still there, does anyone know ?Baby-Mechanic
The only reason I keep smiling is so that people wonder what I've been up to !!0
