Okay I am back and hopefully I won't need to head off again, basically my Mam fell downstairs and broke her right arm and my Dad's Leukemia took a dip (it seems to have settled again, the oncologist thinks it was from worrying about my Mam), so I was up in the North West without internet access for a while looking after them (which was fun as I am on crutches and need a carer myself ), basically I went up and bulk cooked a load of food (their kitchen is laid out so I can get too and from places if people ferry from the fridge etc), so my Dad just had to take a couple of meals out of the freezer the night before and heat them through in the oven or the nuke box. Also masses of soup so lunches were set up as well (froze bread buns in packs of two so again they just needed getting out).

Since getting back at the weekend I have started tracking my food again as I think my weight is the main thing that holds me back, hopefully the tablets will be starting to work and this time the diet will kick in and I will shift the blubber! I have between 13 and 14 stone to lose :o (aka shed loads! :rotfl: - just worked it out I need to lose between 180 and 200 pounds or 82 to 89 kg :p, to think I used to be runner and exercise freak!)

I also need to get the house tidied, if the house looks good then I feel better and I do more (I hope that makes sense to the rest of you :o)

Aww nice to see you back Dragon- you should have given a shout if you were in the vicinity- would have happily helped if i could.

    Yay, glad you're back, Dragon!

Thanks for the advice as well. I'm still nervous about it, but I read something the other day about how one of the reasons women are lower paid is because they don't ask for raises. I dont want to become a statistic!

Thank you folks - it is good to be back! Two days of tracking food and this morning I had to increase my medication by 50% (ie 75mg rather than 50mg), need to get tested again in 6 weeks, they gave me enough tablets for a week , should get more on Friday though *sigh*.

Okay off to get some cleaning done and then this afternoon I can stitch :p
